Wow. That's exciting. I want a change. It's deperatly needed. Ever since I heard the piano version of Yellow I always wanted them to do a song with just Chris and the piano. That would be so awesome.

That comment was obviously fabricated by the magazine in order to make fun of Coldplay fans. The truth is, is that all Coldplay fans should at least have heard of Neil Young, because Chris often refers to him as the inspiration behind Yellow.

Dude... Corrico, don't sound like such a whiny 14 year-old girl. I think we're all a little disappointed with their last album and some of their behavior, but don't sound like such a prick. And I think they took that feature down because they didn't have anytime to update it. They posted songs once and never did it again. Besides... we Coldplay fans are lucky that we get all the high-quality photos, postcards, silly videos and cool sound clips and tour entries for free. Most big bands like that make you pay and give you half the stuff. Don't forget the multitudes of things they put on the Coldplayer for the Latin American tour and the Christmas Vid they did for us just this past year. Damn. What are they supposed to do? Mail a portion of all their royalties to anyone who's ever bought an album?

I think the new website will reflect the new album, just as how all their other versions have. I'm excited. :)

That isn't considered an album. If that was so, then they'd have to count their singles as albums too.

I actually prefer to listen to the live versions of pretty much all their songs (Especially 'Politik' and 'God Put a Smile'). I think it has something to do with the level of intensity that doesn't really come out on the album. I don't see how the production level can effect a live performace, because Sigur Rós is heavily produced on the album, but are about 472897348129 times better live anyway, despite the fact. I don't know though... I kind of prefer to listen to really good live recordings over the album anyway. I think I'm weird like that. In fact... I much prefer the album Parachutes than live. The only song that really really does it for me live is 'Spies'. Of course, that doesn't mean that I wouldn't love to hear 'Sparks' or more Parachutes songs live, it's just a trend I've seen with my listening habits.

ATL rawks. 99X did it, a radio station in Atlanta that the band works pretty closely with while they're on tour. I remember when X&Y came out, they were having Coldplay parties and marathons and re-playing their shows from years past and their LiveX from 2002. It was like a huge celebration. The band flew two DJs up to Chicago for an exclusive interview and to debute the album on the radio back in Atlanta. And then, of course, there's always the huge-extra-special- guest star that we get from each show. :laugh3: We rule. :)
