The thing is, is that even though Timbaland is associated with hip-hop/pop-ish acts, you have to understand that he's only really worked with hip-hop/poppish acts like Furtado and Timberlake, etc. I think he wants to broaden his horizons just as much as Coldplay do, from what I can tell in the article. He's not going to turn Coldplay hip-hop, because they aren't a hip-hop band. I think the deal is him maybe providing some beats or some other little knick-knacks (Or, most likely, mix the album). I mean, Eno is an electronic music artist, but he's also helmed albums like The Joshua Tree. The point is, is that it is still Coldplay and Eno is producing. Timbaland collabing on it does not make it a hip-hop album.

Exactly. Danton Supple produced almost every track on X&Y and even some on A Rush of Blood. Brian Eno provided some synths for 'Low' and that was it. It wasn't like he helmed the entire album. Eno is a veritable album god. I'm excited about this. I want something so new and wonderful it'll make people sit up in their seats. Not just nod their heads and say 'Oh yeah... that's pretty good... it's Coldplay'. I'm sick of these people moaning for another Parachutes.

^ Fudge, I think the circumstances surrounding this album are so mind-boggingly different, that I don't think there will be a problem with the lyrcis.

He actually had to lose some weight for that role. You see, that picture is from the play 'Equus' that he's in. He plays a stable boy who's a little too interested in his horses and he's naked alot. O-o It's a very dark, disturbing play to say the least.

Well, I got X&Y at a local store in Atlanta called Wax 'n' Facts, and I found both Parachutes and A Rush of Blood to the Head at Amoeba records in Los Angeles. There's another local shop called Criminal Records that always has some Coldplay vinyl. Just find some local shops and poke around in there. Or, if you're ever in Los Angeles, be sure to visit Amoeba. It's like... the holy grail of record stores. They're all over E-bay though, most for resonable prices. You should be able to find some easy. :)

Oh my God. I think I just shit my pants. Coldplay just won't stop with the awesome stuff. I think the fact that they're ONLY releasing it in 7" vinyl is fan-fucking-tastic. Vinyl is so much more curable, has a richer sound, and is beautiful. I already own their three LPs on vinyl so this'll complete my collection! I think releasing it in all vinyl is really gutsy of them. That's something that's very musical-purist type and I love it. YAY!

I've only ever heard of Chris being adoring to fans. If you remember the Much Music special back in '05, although he had to leave, he still made a great effort to see as many people as possible before he was dragged off. And there was yet another account of a friend of my sister's meeting him last tour at the Tampa concert I think. She said that he was lovely and asked her if she was cold and if she wanted some coffee or tea and signed her poster and pulled Jonny in to pose with her for a picture. UNFORTUNATELY her camera was stolen before she had imported the photos so I never saw it. :(. (She said then that Will gave her a rose left over from the roses that they had given to the crowd that night too :) .) He seems to be better when he has atleast one member if not all members of the band with him. However, I have heard of Chris being less than gracious. In Atlanta, he came into 99X for the morning DJ session after a mind-blowing concert. Although I was not there, I heard that he rushed through fan greetings after the show. You can tell that he was in a strange mood if you listen to the interview. He seemed to be not only tired, but very humbled and almost shaken from the night before (He had played with Micheal Stipe and was exposedto probably the craziest crowd EVER). He walked out of the stduio before his time was completley done because he got upset for playing a bad Elton John song in his home-town. He blew it out of porportion and seemed to be very on edge, so, although he did pose with people and chatted, he seemed to be tense and short. Anyways I'm just saying that maybe it was just one of those nights. I don't know. *Shrug* It still doesn't excuse him, but, hey, even Chris Martin can be in weird moods. We all know how effin' neurotic that boy is sometimes.
