Apple was born to Sigur Rós. Chris loves them especially. They also love REM (Obviously), The Flaming Lips (They love their shows), Elton John, Jay-Z, and I've seen the guys wearing Joy Division shirts. They also love The Smiths. Jonny once said that Johnny Marr was his biggest influence. And of course Chris loves Ah-Ha. :D

As an American, I agree with her. And the whole phoning-in into radio stations is just testimony to how much we have our heads stuck up our asses. We can't take one of our own giving us well-deserved critism.

The new song sounds really cool. I can't really understand the lyrics, but I really like the piano. The title's cool too: 'Bucket for a Crown'. That's just so cool! I can't wait for the next album. :(

I think Will's drumming is fantastic. Besides, Coldplay songs don't call for incredible drum lines or anything. Everything is all quite simple and rudimentary. Of course, if you listin to songs like Low, Shiver, Talk, and Daylight, Will's drums really shine through. Especially if you watch them live. He's all over the place. :)

I will agree with you once you give me a refrence that is more substantial than the flimsy quote of a drugged up pop star through a music tabloid that has been known to be very fictious and another "interview" in yet another notorius tabliod. I just love how you take one quote like that, and then automatically assume that not only that it's true, but that he alone flew 100,000 miles in total and emitting 250 times more carbon than an average person. How the hell do you figure that? (Please don't tell me.... I'll just laugh) Here are my reasons for assuming it's not true: 1) The band was given a private jet by EMI, their record lable. It is in no way, shape or form, theirs. That jet was for touring purposes only[/]b. Now... tell me how Chris Martin, a man that does not personally own the jet in any way, does not pay the pilots/crew, nor does he pay for the evil fule that goes inside, can POSSIBLY convince EMI (His boss, bassically) that he needs to fly from, let's say Sweden, across three (Or more) timezones to arrive back to London, possibly stay for only a few hours before he has to return for a gig and then fly somewhere else for another gig. How exactly does that work? 2) Also, you fail to realize that his family were with him almost 85% of the time whilst he was on tour. 3) There's an interview Chris had an interview with Andrew Denton. He talks about the jet and says they only get it for very special instances. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWG6Z-GEeVU 4) Contact Music is a tabliod. Do you know how much stuff tabliods make up? Especially quote-wise? Lisa has probably never even spoken to Contact Music before in her life. That's like that "interview" that Chris did with The Sun after he got married to Gwyn. It was entirely fabricated. Chris doesn't do interviews with The Sun, and niether to a majority of celeberties. Contatct Music's main motive for making a quote like that up is that they heard that Coldplay have a jet for touring and to further illustrate their wealth, they made something up about Lisa Goldfrapp. A tabliod like that is not there to report facts like a Newspaper or 'Time', it's made to sell or to attract customers. Unfortunately for Chris, since he doesn't go out a do crazy shit or start fights or give the celeberity magazines stuff to talk about, the majority of the time they have to take what little information they have and run with it. Also bear in mind that Lisa rode in this jet, along with the majority of crew and family members with Coldplay. There's a picture of them all standing outside of it somewhere around here. She was opening for Coldplay, which is something you don't take lightly as a musical artist. She would never say anything against Chris or the band while she was touring with them. Not only is it disrespectful to a band who is allowing you to tour with them and get (basically) free exposure, but it makes for an ill touring environment. ...So yeah. I really wish people would think about things instead of jumping all over it and automatically beleiving it. I hope you now turn your attentions to more worthwhile things. Like writing your senator (Or whatever governmental representative) to ask him to up funding for alternative fules and read-up on the amazing possiblities of nano technology and what it could mean for medicine and for the environment. Instead of not only beleiving a fallacy and presuing it and making it seems like it's actually a big deal. Even if it was true, there's very little you can do about it by posting in a Coldplay fan site.

I'll gladly burn all of my Coldplay CDs if you give me proof that 4381738219 of other million/billionaires don't do that and more. Besides... all Chris wants to do is single-handedly destroy the planet by riding in a private jet (That he doesn't own, nor control) inbetween shows every night crossing several timezones to visit a famil that's already on tour with him on the plane that is supposed to be for touring ONLY. Fuck Bush. Fuck Castro. Fuck Kim Jong Il. Fuck the evil creatures running Sudan. It's all about Chris Martin man. He's the REAL evil mastermind. You have it all figured out man. Congrats.
