I hate you. I had an oppritunity to go to the 99X studios, but I didn't take it. Why? The world will never know. RWAR. No,no, no. I hate YOU. You got tickets to go see Death Cab For Cutie at the Tabernacle. I tried to get freaking tickets, sold out damn it. I bet it was an amazing show. The Tabernacle is a great venue. Oh it was! You'll hate me even more when I tell you that I was front row in front of Chris and then got to meet the band after the show. They're so nice. :) And I'll agree that the Tabernacle was indeed amazing. Here's a picture. That is INDEED Ben Gibbard. And me with the dark hair. (No I did not wear that shirt to the concert; I'm not THAT corny :lol:)

Take those words with a grain of salt people. We've heard country album, hip-hop album and now electronic. This time next month it could be hard-core. Who knows? :lol: But an electronic album could be interesting. We all know how amazing Chris' voice sounds over electronic intruments from the Faultline songs. :) But I do agree that the fourth album needs to knock everyone sideways in terms of new sound and lyrics. And just new everything. One thing that HAS stayed the same over the months though is the trilogy statement. Perhaps with the end of the trilogy they end the love songs. I'm up for anything. Really. I just want a grounshaking change in the band, and I think that's exactly what they're gearing up for.

It DOES! Alot of their backwards versions sound like Sigur ros. And yes... take in the Coldplay cleanliness. :)

Well they did release a special DVD format of the "Talk" single which includes Talk, the studio version of Gravity, the Talk video, the Speed of Sound video and behind-the-scenes footage of the shootign of the Talk video. There's also a Live DVD that was released in 2003 that includes a DVD with a full performance live from Sydney, Austrailia, a 40 minuet tour documentary, multi-angle views, pictures and a CD with selected live tracks from the concert. On top of all this there's also a DVD for The Scientist and Clocks; The Scientist includes The Scientist video, the video backwards (I think?), a live track of the cover of Lips Like Sugar by Echo and the Bunnymen, and an interview. The Clocks DVD includes the video, a live recording of Politik and In My Place, and more interviews. And the band is planning to release a live DVD from the Twisted Logic tour... probably by this time next year of earlier. Hope that helps and welcome!

I've never heard of that one. There's either the CD and DVD or just the DVD. The CD/DVD comes on a CD case while the DVD by itself comes in a DVD case. I've never heard of just the CD and I've never seen a cover with Chris. In fact, I've never seen a cover with any of the band members on it (where thay've been recognizable at any rate). But, just because I haven't heard of it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Just means it's highly unlikely that it does. ;) :lol:

I think Death Cab for Cutie's cover of Bjork's "All Is Full of Love" is excellent.
