I've got long straight hair but I use ceramic plate straighteners on it sometimes. It feels nice after, and it makes the ends look good and sharp and blunt :huh: if that's not a contradiction ... :confused: :D

Cool :cool: I remember the Giotto probe that went very close to Halley's nucleus and sent back AMAZING pics. I just find it incredible that they can so accurately launch a probe to pass that close to a comet! I'll look out for the news reports of this one then :D

Labell, that's very sad, poor little foal. I think it's sad when ANY young creature dies - all that potential lost. I also think it's sad when old people get ill and aren't looked after properly. They were staying in a hotel I was staying in on Wednesday night! I chatted to the road crew and their tour manager all evening, but the band were sent to bed early cos they had a gig the next night! I never wanted children, couldn't imagine wanting all that responsibility for another life etc. But then I had my son and my life just took on a different meaning. I didn't see much in it at first - all that crying and nappies and no sleep. But gradually I came to adore all his little ways and cute smiles and watching him learn stuff. And suddenly he's 17 and all grown up and I think shit, where've all those years gone? Believe me, it's the most amazing thing you can do. Do I sound like your parents ...... ??? !! :lol:

Yeah, only without there being a for free sign! I guess it's just understood that the people in the house have thrown it out, and therefore it's free to a good home! It can just be a bit embarrassing if the occupiers catch you, even though it shouldn't be, really, if they've thrown it out in the first place. Skipping's better than going through someone's trash - you don't tend to get eggshells and carrot peelings in skips! Sorry, I didn't mean to confuse everyone! And I hadn't thought of it meaning skipping school !
