^ yep it was on Triple J. soon as i heard it i knew--- it was mew--- i love it when that happens that moment where your-- hmm interesing sound very much like mew (pause listening intently) that voice! ( then it hits) it is mew! i use radio alarm to wake me up and that song just happend to be on---it has to be a sign ( buy the CD lol)

not my fav finnish band actually only heard that one hit song and sail away. --- i like the apocalytpica song bittersweet the Rasmus guy did with them and Ville Valo. i thought his gravely high voice melded well with Ville's low sexy voice.

I'm really loving this beautiful song "Kanakasi Boy wipe your tears" its about refugees living overseas how it may seem hard but to keep your chin up! She makes badges!! they're really cute :) and her teddy got his passport photos taken he he. i like how she captures the everday but in different points of view/angles etc . i really like her use of colour too bright but faded at the same time

very slick and modern! you can really see the graphic designer shinning through which is great adds another dimension to the photography. i love the pic where the couple are kissing on a park bench while on the oppostie end a man is reading a newspaper and the lady next to him is looking at the viewer kind of (exasperated, bewildered) like she want's to do like the kissing couple and kiss the newspaper guy lol.

OMG the texture! i love when you can feel texture of photography and that joel site is choc-a-block full of photos like that! they're really beautiful even though they capture normal street life makes it look so warm at times. i really like the design of the website too. lol the girl with the mouse made me laugh she looks so emo. this one too LMAO i love it. btw the girl in the king of suburbia video from Greenday music video is in one photo. he he yes i know your photos alyssa, awesome stuff. i particularly am a fan of your landscapes i like the mood that they invoke some are serene others quiet and lonely. my all time favourite is this one --- there are many ppl on the beach yet it seems like the viewer of the photograph could be the only person on earth.

that's such a great idea! ooh and they have sections such as Black and White and head wear(?). it's open to all yeah? i would like to try this - though ehh i'd have to learn how to take a proper photo first lol.

wow i like- she doesn't try to dress it up its nice and simple looking- i.e not too much clutter in the photography. it seems like she captures time, seeing her photos for some reason i feel at peace and even though most of the figures seem like they're in a lonely landscape its not fear but of peaceful loneliness.
