bump anyone heard of the goth detectives?

got my homework hehe all this month has been my film watching month. still got to catch up with those. De Niro is in OUATIA must watch it , i also got to finish Taxi never finished watching it. And Deer Hunter i think the movie is called. Few Weeks ago watched Pans Labyrinth and now really like Guillermo Torres.

i remember first time i watch it couldn't finish-- got up to the part where the rich lady in red was being raped. finally watched it in full last year.

^ shameful isn't it what's the view on silverchair's new single? i was really suprised with the video i don't like describing bands using other bands but this is what i actually was thinking-- the video reminded me of a cross between coldplay( the running and the lights) and Ville Valo from H.I.M ( the way daniel was dressed).

i 've heard that song " i think it would be funny etc etc" (thought it was the kooks at first don't kill me i just assumed) i was looking for stuff on youtube about countries and places named Salvador when the song came up-- hehe i didn't put two and two together.

all music categories deservers their own.. however it is tedious so many weired categories. And you have to wonder at some of the acts that win. Though i'm glad wolfmother won an award any one have pics of that ?

you always take such great clear pics! for a moment i was like -what is one of the members of Youthgroup, a guy who used to be in The Vines doing playing with CWK ?!?! hehe.

yay thanks for clips - i still remember one of my favs. my heart is broken had to chose between buying The Roots and Bloc Party with a voucher. Chose former but now i'm hearing Bloc Party all time on radio. edit: watching i still remember.....BY JOVE ! i think i might buy the cd.....( gets paper and begins to look for part time jobs)

^ sorry can't help have no clue what your on about he he can you imagine i'm trying to learn piano --- well keyboard--- on my own by learning some coldplay songs. using some youtube tutorials because i downloaded some stuff from threads here but cant really read the music. so far can play the opening of trouble and a bit of clocks yay.....but eh that's as far as the tuts go and its getting repetitive lol.

saw a band yesterday part of the St Kilda Festival and thus FREE -- Curse Ov Dialect LOL they were hilarious! one guy was dressed in purple shiny frock with grass for a hat ( he kept on going on about the racists and bigots and shirley temple (?), the other traditional greek clothing an a curly black wig, the dj was normal, and one was totally wraped in garbage bags held together by sticky tape --his head was also coverd by a garbage bag with a hole for his mouth and chin and a hole for one eye-he also had a baboon mask which kept on slipping off. They sang hip hop tunes-with funny lyrics and rhythms and funny voices ( sounding anglo aussie, greek aussie etc) they would run into the crowd,bounce around, the guy in the garabage bag outfit had epelectic like movements by the end of the night one of his but cheeks was peeping through (erwww) even when the sound didn't work they kept on going, the only negative thing was that they didn't play long enough :(

saw last minutes of a video where that guy that plays guitar and sings in Nightwish appears. he is in a space ship with a space suite on. did not see any other nightwish members so couldn't be the "new" nightwish... has any body seen this music video? would be much appreciated if you could let me know what the band is called. thanks in advance. :)

The Bees The Cat Empire True Live The Bamboos Buena Vista Social Club Diafrix (they have a great song in da place very anthem like would have people on feet and singing along to ohh oooh oohh ooh oohh etc-- look up their myspace you'll see what i mean :) ) ^ jazzy, latin,funk, reggae, hip hop type of music ( very danceable)

don't care what that reviewer said " i still remember' is one of my favs too also "waiting for the 718" and ' the Prayer",which i didn't like at first weird really like it now.

i heard this new song and sounded like a 90s song. then a closer listen and yep it was regina! was really suprised cos this song is so unlike the others i've heard. it goes " remember one time i used......tangarines" then it goes on about someone ODing twice and then it just ends her singing : freeeakkyy i really like her much more after this song-- she has so much range her songs are not monotonous and i like being suprised :)

bumpety hey sorry havent able to log on---- I HAVE NO INTERNET CONNECTION!!!!!!!! its like losing an arm :( using uni comps but once i get my arm back --- i mean-- my internet connection back i'll probably be frequenting here more often. joshy pics will have to wait till them :(
