lol, so do you find it amusing or not? Anyways, we settled via PM and I would like to apologize for the gap in service. Back to topic, criticisms...? What I don't mind are E drums, lyrics, having heard songs beforehand... I guess it would be length of the album, but its not even shorter than parachutes (the shortest album, which I regard highly). Plus we have 3 more tracks on the horizon, so even that isn't a real complaint. I like songs and albums of this vibe (the heart breaky type) but would say its perhaps a bit too saturated in it. Pretty much every song outside ASFOS is a bit of a downer emotionally. I thought Chris said in the interview that Bono told him not to make another album thats such a downer? lol. I guess if I really were to complain about something it would be that. I still rank this as their best pieces of work though.

IIRC, UIF was the last song from MX to be completed so its the closest song of that album chronologically to GS. Even Atlas kinda fits as another song in between the albums

They have developed their abilities to have opinions. Sorry. I for one like Parachutes and would rank it high, but don't mind/care if others don't.

There's nothing wrong with wanting a high quality rip, hell, even I want a high quality rip (mine wasn't the best, kept clipping). But why even voice it when we've gotten more than we can ask for with this itunes play. I hope i'm not coming off as harsh, I guess this is a glass half full/half empty thing and we're on either ends of the see-saw.

Anyways, personal opinion incoming: I think when we say that 'it doesn't matter what critics say as long as you enjoy the album', that's a good thing and a good way to go about things. But this would also mean it doesn't matter if everyone loves the album. The point i'm trying to make is you can't just listen to the good and ignore the bad. The way I go about it is ignore ALL of it. Just something to think about.
