Any chance you think Uncle Jay had a hand in this? He's a big cog in the NBA machine and I don't think Coldplay is what you'd typically associate with the NBA; must've had some inside help....

I say we hire the cheaper bands for 1k and ask them to do some Coldplay covers for us while wearing Chris, Jonny, Guy and Will masks.

Oh thanks! I just meant that I didn't get a poster, magnet or anything with it. It isn't the Target version and it wasn't some part of a huge collection of Coldplay stuff. But it did allow me to say I have all their LPs in my possession now.

Its turning into one of my favs. In fact, 2nd best behind Rush of Blood for me. Love all the tracks to varying degrees but I guess O stands out. No, I was out with my band for a creative session and dinner. I want to see it but I wanna find a good full copy. Alls ive run into are SD ones and the NBC version that was short.

It was my fault for not proofreading it. I would've jumped to the same conclusion were it not my comment. I said the same thing in the Target thread. It's pretty well known Target Canada isn't doing too well. You would think they would try and give some incentive to go to TC when they could easily provide the public with an exclusive like the album with 3 bonus tracks.

I just read my message and noticed it seemed a bit harsh. That was purely by accident, my bad. I just wanted to convey someone in another thread tried calling and said it wasn't available already. However, if the user didn't have a Target in their city to phone, would they bother to ask about whether they had it? It seemed like they were asking here to see if they should go to a local Target to get it. Again, sorry about the tone of my previous message. That was just an error on my part.

I assume you're talking about GS. Someone actually did the work and called them and they said they weren't available at Target Canada.

It was serious enough for you to say once 2 months ago and bring up again after all that time. And I was curious enough to reply to you 'cause you didn't reply back 2 months ago either. That's all beyond the point. I hope you're not dodging the point of what i'm trying to say by injecting some humour. You at least seemed upset about it and I was just trying to remedy it.

But just the way you're going about it is puzzling. Its a very 'either or' sort of mindset that you're restricting yourself to. I think you'll find that the majority here actually like both songs, maybe one more than the other, but they like BOTH songs. I don't see the issue in that, definitely not enough to murder someone over.

Again, with the same response as I gave you months ago on the same statement, I ask you why I can't choose to like both songs? I've got plenty of room on my phone/computer to be able to fit both songs on it.

It says something that the Olympics asked Oasis to reform to play Wonderwall. The song and the band are still being remembered after disbanding for years. With that being said, the Paralympics got Coldplay to play as well. I guess that's why this is a good question to ask since BOTH bands are relevant and have made impactful contributions to music/culture.
