  1. Do you know when we should use those links? I'm hearing 20:00 as well as 21:00
  2. lol, I know its a little bit out there, but I thought long and hard about. What sold me was I didn't have a single track from the Viva era on my playlist which surprised even myself. Dont get me wrong, I like Viva, but I just don't prefer it to MX. Or perhaps I'm going about the whole thing wrong. I'm putting a higher reliance on strength of individual tracks than the album as a whole.
  3. My personal rankings are Rush>'Chutes>X&Y>MX>Viva I would project GS to be above X&Y at the moment and as high as parachutes. Doubt it can reach 'Rush' status.
  4. So there are 4 events happening in the next 7 days: (a) French TV performance Thursday (b) German Concert Friday © German Concert Saturday (d) Jools Holland Tuesday (a) -Will be on TV so lots of opportunity to watch (if you have that channel) or at least someone nice can record for us and eventually upload over at MM (b) + © -I've scoured the live threads of each concert and found that they are being broadcast on the radio (audio only, no video AFAIK). April 25th @ 14:00 EST April 26th @ 11:00 EST -Also, if someone manages to rip/record the broadcast they can be found in MM in most likelihood -Same goes if ppl are allowed to use their cameras at this concert. (d) -Jools Holland is also on TV so see (a)

They are already for sale http://lovebutton.org/buy-love-buttons/ The buttons aren't a Coldplay(ing) thing. Chris has been wearing the button lately though and I guess fans wanna be like him. More info about the button and their story on ^that site.

To answer your questions: As of this moment, I like Midnight better, I rather hear Midnight 3 times in a row (because i've already heard Yellow many times in a row), I would rather play Yellow on guitar 'cause I havent learned Midnight yet. Hypothetical: Even if I like Yellow better, does than automatically make Midnight a bad song? Why must I choose between the 2 songs? Why can't I like both songs? Does a parent not love all their children?
  8. I'm more of a reader of the news than a producer of it. So when I read that something is gonna be released on date X and I look into it and it turns out to be a dud, then its a major buzzkill. I guess you're right though, apparently a lot of fans like to speculate and guess. Iunno, its not for me, seems like its a setup for disappointment more often than not lol.
  9. I see that those tracks are special (since the have track lengths next to them), but I just don't know where they get the dates from.
  10. Yeah, it sucks because I get pumped too. Then you actually do some fact checking or ask where they get their info and they say they came to that conclusion only because "it's logical".... The only confirmed events are conveniently in the forum calendar http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/calendar.php?month=4&year=2014&c=1
  11. No it isnt. People are taking liberties and guessing at dates because they "make sense" or "it's logical". Making sense does not equate to something being confirmed or being true at all despite what anyone suggests. But this is how rumours start and how they eventually become misrepresented as fact. Of those dates the user posted, only the album release is confirmed and ASFOS was rumoured via a leak. AA and the NBC special is just grasping at straws.
  12. I keep reading this theory everywhere. Is there anything that actually supports this or is it wishful thinking?
  13. Yeah. The Youtube version which I ripped was 5:08. I found a copy claiming to be from itunes with the 4:54 length. I'm basically wondering if the version I got (without the fade in) is legit 'cause its possible someone couldve just grabbed the youtube rip and trimmed it.
  14. Stupid question: So the itunes version is shorter than the youtube version. Did they just cut the fade-in in the beginning to whittle it down to 4:54?
  15. I feel the same way, but like you mentioned the social stuff is to advertise the site, not a person. Otherwise that would be weird and tacky. But again, yeah, great work! I view quite a few youtube shows myself and I try to share what I tend to see in most of the higher end channels but the level of work that this video is already at will keep me eager to watch the next episode for sure.
  16. Amazing. Absolutely amazing. This is lightyears ahead of any previous version of this project so far. +Visually appealing +Auditorily appealing as well (Petey & Ciaran, fantastic work) To take it to the next level: -I noticed annotations weren't even available in the video; something to look into. For instances I would've used it to link to a specific discussion thread or link to the tour dates. -Last splash screen could advertise the forum, facebook, twitter page. -At least use the description space below to link or describe those things I would say some more, but you guys have got a good grasp on it now. There's definitely more good than bad, less things to fix and worry about with this video. Keep it up, I look forward to more!

You are still doing a poor job at describing to me what a normal song is.. You're only listing examples but no actual defining trait that you seem to attach to a normal song. You seem to list songs from the earlier Coldplay era and call them your normal songs and when Paradise is brought up, you make a point to discount it as a normal song (by design or coincidence and seemingly because you aren't a fan of it). And another thing, i'll be honest with you like you asked. I do not think the new songs are dull. I do not think they are less creative. I do not thing it's less Coldplay.
  18. Hi, I'm not German but I am intrigued by the possibility of the concert being broadcast online. You don't happen to have a link to the radio do you? Or at least navigate the German website for me to find one?
  19. It arrives sooner on the 16th for the following countries: Australia Austria Belgium Finland Germany New Zealand Source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_Stories_(Coldplay_album)#Release_history So, I gotta make some friends in those countries.
  20. And some countries get it even earlier on the 16th! Why did they choose to advertise the 19th as the release date then when the 16th is earlier?

  22. http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/threads/53800-Coldplay-Make-81-6-million-in-2008?p=2751521&viewfull=1#post2751521 Summary: Coldplay make just as much in concerts than album sales, if not more. Not surprising considering most ppl know how to pirate.
  23. jc90 replied to Wilson's topic in Coldplay
    Please define normal songs.
  24. Just have your money ready 'cause its gonna be expensive I bet with it being limited and all, and wait for the tickets to go on sale http://www.coldplay.com/tour.php Goodluck
