Another EP: This is the Place Here's the title track I didn't like the previous EP, and this EP seems to be the same story : / I know a lot of the fans are saying this, but this is too disco-y and not enough rock for my liking.

Coldplaying Forums Changelog
I think a while ago, in the middle of some sort of forum upgrade my sig was lost. No matter, it wasn't much anyways. Last I remember, it was only the albums in order. I'll probably update it for LP8 :D but thanks for the heads up.

Coldplaying Forums Changelog
THIS, I was trying to figure out how to explain that too, haa. And yeah, the same formatting bug as a few weeks ago is happening again, but its spotty. Its doing it in some threads and not others. I checked 5 threads and only one was 'normal', the others had the formatting issue. I cant try to figure out a pattern. I thought it was just thread I participated in maybe, but no.

New registered Coldplay songs!
The other artists appear to be a mix of members of the Korean group Seventeen and Andrew Taggart of the Chainsmokers edit: wait a minute.... https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/k-town/7982049/seventeen-coldplay-the-chainsmokers-dont-wanna-cry-credit-plagiarism I think I remember this from years ago now....

Random Coldplay thoughts...
Had this thought a week or so ago: You remember when Atlas came out and the band posted the lyrics here? Notice at the very bottom there was a little ghost? No one thought anything of it at the time, but I remember a while after when Ghost Stories was released, someone here mentioned it was there, like the band were hinting it to us. I havent been playing as close attention this 'offseason' but do you guys think we already have some clues from the band right under our noses somehow?

Hello, now im getting some odd formatting issues with the site that wasnt there before. Not sure if its just me, or something changed on your end.- Coldplay Megamix (Music Video)
Seeing this for the first time now, great work!- Coldplaying Forums Changelog
I dont mind the redesign, but is there an option to change the skin at all? Im sure its just something I have to get used to. Keep it up Stephen!- Peter Griffin tuning his guitar
Referencing this of course for those out of the loop : )- LP8 Thread - Everyday Life
Yeah, i dont think its LP8 related, but looking forward to it nonetheless! Should be cool!- Random Coldplay thoughts...
I especially appreciated the LP2 era outfit!- Avicii / Chris Martin, Heaven and
I agree, I liked the hypnotic progression they have, but it doesnt change much from it. It was nice to hear for the first half, but 4+ minutes of it without much change makes it a little boring.- Random Coldplay thoughts...

It doesnt seem like much, but I believe that because of how the question was phrased ("Guy, are we allowed to talk about when your new album is dropping?"), means they at least have a deadline date internally. Which means they are working on it. To calm myself down a tad, at the same time, i dont know the person who asked that question. I assumed he was someone in-the-know, but he very well could not be. Maybe he just asked the question that way without thinking contextually about what us fans might think.- Random Coldplay thoughts...

I dont see whats to gain from either side. I mean, BTS is already massive and so is Coldplay. Then again, perhaps it might help each side expand their audience a bit? Im not against it per se, but I dont see the upside. Plus, i'd prefer if the band stick to themselves.- Random Coldplay thoughts...
Buddy, you can listen to any song from Amsterdam to Yellow, but what you really gotta do is buckle down and study. If you're really looking for a recommendation, I know for me, I have to listen to their instrumentals. If I listen to their studio tracks, I tend to sing along and not pay attention to the things im reading! But to repeat what I said, you gotta study properly. Dont get distracted, that means this forum as well! Maybe you need a study partner? I know it helps me when I try to teach the stuff I do know to someone. Helps to kinda prove how well I know a topic when I can teach it to someone. Good luck, just focus!- Random Coldplay thoughts...
Thanks! Yeah, so I don't really expect the forums to reach that level of traffic because of the popularity of twitter. Unless the forums can provide something twitter cannot. I mean, it's not a bad thing, just different. The smaller community has more familiar names, makes it feel more homely, hopefully keeps us more civil.- Random Coldplay thoughts...
The popularity of each era has to do with it, generally with the fandom peaking around LP2-4 era. BUT also, that time in history didn't have social media as our main means of sharing opinions. I dont know of a lot of forums/messageboards that are quite as active anymore. It was a different time! Now it seems like people want their news fast and they also want a nice short 200 character blurb. I find people arent as inclined to read a big wall of text in an internet forum anymore. It might be why this forum had a few near-death experiences as well. Forums just arent a popular vehicle to express yourself anymore. If done correctly, I still prefer it to twitter chains and reddit threads; perhaps im just used to it having been here 10+ years now! I guess what im saying is, this forum isn't as fun as before, and its a bit sad. But the fun still exists out there, but its mostly on twitter now I suspect. For me the peak 'fun' I had on the forum was leak hunting. I found the forum thread style easier to follow, but I would imagine twitter being a faster and easier way to share a leak. - Coldplaying Forums Changelog
