Fell into the Youtube black hole and came across this LP3 era gig ive never seen before. Great quality too!

To follow up, besides being a huge Coldplay fan, im also a huge hockey/Leafs fan. Im experiencing a double offseason for both of my big fandoms. What the Leafs subreddit is doing to pass the time is a sort of daily countdown thing until the next season starts. I could see a poster or mod post a sort of daily/weekly discussion counting down a bunch of Coldplay songs. It leads to a bunch of interesting discussions (what they think of the song, a memory they associate with it, overrated/underrated discussion, favourite live performance of the song, etc) particularly when you get to the more obscure songs. I would encourage someone else to start this. I would, but im not as starved for my Coldplay fix as others it seems.

^did you expect this place to be bumpin' with this lack of news? I dont even know what the next big thing to look forward to is? Live album? Chris solo show later this year? Am I missing something? I guess way back when, we had posters practically live here, but that was back when twitter, facebook, instagram didnt exist.

Hey there, I was just thinking how out-of-date the whole forum experience is nowadays after seeing Coldplaying has a Discord server. It's good to see this forum still alive after all these years though. Coldplay definitely influenced me to pick up a few instruments as well just to mess about, but I couldnt imagine taking it as far as you have! Very impressive, im sure the rest of us would like to see your channel.

Lots of Coldplay/FIFA connections today. During the celebrations, they played the Paradise remix. Also, the national sports network had a compilation of the tourney set to Clocks.

Good discussion topic I saw on r/coldplay while we're all in the offseason: What songs from AHFOD do you think the band will play once the next tour starts? Do you think there's any chance from KEP? This is kinda what i had in mind when we had the Coldplaying News / Youtube channel. A weekly discussion on a random topic. Maybe 2 of the mods, plus bringing in a random forum user or two to give different opinions.

Here's an exercise I made up after reading this from r/coldplay Try to use the band's library to create the most rock sounding album. Repeat for most 'radiohead sounding' album, or acoustic album, or R&B album.

A bit surprised there's nothing on Coldplay's twitter about it.

^I like those songs, but its all about moderation for me. I dont think i'd enjoy a whole album with the dance theme, at least, I wouldnt enjoy it as much as other themes.

This is why you guys get so disappointed all the time. Management did not say something will happen today or anything. You set up your own expectations and are unhappy when they arent met. Conversely, Chris or whoever did say November way back when. What i'm trying to say is go about your normal day to day life without expecting an announcement. There are plenty of things to do to pass the time instead of speculating. A watched pot never boils. Edit: I hate to use (and hate when others use) "you guys". Seems like youre being talked down to. Thats not my intended effect. I was that person as well before, F5-ing the forum for news and whatnot. Im just trying to help out 'cause it does seem like this lack of news is stressing people out, or they're being a bit dramatic.

So there will be an announcement, but when is the actual release I wonder?

I'd really like to have no uniforms this time around please...especially if its a bright coloured one like last era, or the viva Grammy ones. It makes them look like a children's tv program cast. I guess i'd be okay with the GS or Rush of blood theme. Coincidentally the most 'normal' theme.
