It sounds like (if accurate) it's taking the Infinity Sign role of the album. I've had Neon Forest segue into One World on my iTunes playlist so if it's like that on the album it might be a lovely transition.

This is probably the most we’ve known about a record’s creation in advance since the Viva days, so it would be easy for someone to take the info we have and make fanfiction with it. That being said if this tracklist is fake then it’s a believable fake. I could see myself buying into it.

I really like the Biutyful video actually, it's cute. But that's where the puppets should've stayed. They shouldn't have gone on Late Night television, and they definitely shouldn't have been incorporated into Coldplay's main stage show. Also, the message would've gotten across quite neatly without Chris insisting on a pitch shifter.

Not really expecting announcements of any sort until late May, possibly even afterwards. It's possible they debut a new song at the Big Weekend and don't release it until the next week (so early June)

Under normal circumstances I would 100% agree but on MOTS the interludes are among the better tracks, I'm glad they're not attached to anything (MOTS2 not withstanding of course)

The band are allowed to make whatever they want to make, and I'm allowed to listen to whatever I want to listen to. I'm not going to blindly love everything a band does just because I enjoy most of their stuff.

I recon Earthling will make it. It feels like a musical song to me.

Also I have a very strong feeling the musical will be based on The Weirdos. That would be such a Coldplay thing to do "Oh you guys don't like The Weirdos? You want us to return to our classic style? Well how about A WHOLE MOVIE ABOUT THE WEIRDOS instead?"
