I don't understand what music compresion is, is it like compressing your 12"s to 7"s? Seems a bit pointless to me, I like to keep my vinyls the way they are.

It's an odd choice for sure, certainly wouldn't be my first pick as the next single off the album.

It is a grower, I now find 6 of the songs on here beautiful. I'm warming to Feral a little. Little By Little just gets worse with every listen. Still, as much as the album grows on you it will still forever go down in my books as one of Radioheads weaker releases. There just isn't enough to keep me satisfied.

Surprisingly a lot of the reviews I've read so far aren't the sort you'd expect for a new Radiohead release. Who knows, in 6 months time this could be ranked down there with Pablo Honey. Second half >>> first half. Though the second half isn't amazing either. Good, not amazing. I wanted more songs like Bodysnatchers and Bangers and Mash. I kinda thought since Kid A they were gradually moving closer and closer to the rockier sound. How stupid of me to think this.

This is my first listen now so I can't make a full judgement. I will say it sounds like a cross between The Eraser and Amnesiac. And yes, it's too short. I've just made a iTunes playlist for it to include TAMTW as well. Just a matter of where to place it. I seriously, seriously hope we'll be getting another disc of material soon. The songs on here, as good or not good as they may be - aren't really enough after the 4 year wait. One thing is certain though, hipsters, RYM and Pitchfork will lap it up.

Around when the Japanese webcast thing was supposed to happen, Radiohead uploaded the official video for Lotus Flower onto YouTube. World went insane.

I'll believe it when I see it. I'm going out in about an hour. If this is true, hopefully I'll be able to come home tonight to some sweet TKoL!
