  1. All the previews sound amazing but this one would have to be my fav... but only just.
  2. I'm just thinking it's strange that Prospekts March and Poppy Fields have to share a track yet Postcards is only 50 seconds long and gets it's own track high up in the playlist.
  3. If they were gonna mix up this song they could've at least turned the overbearing droney sounds down.
  4. Though it's a very nice piece, I'll be very dissapointed if it's just a 50 second thing, seems like a waste of track.
  5. It's a double track - Prospekt's March/Poppy Fields. Poppy Fields sounds amazing however! Cant wait for Prospekt's March! Both of them.
  6. Anyone else slightly disappointed on how this ep is turning out? The Osaka Sun mix of Lovers in Japan is very similar to the album version, as is Lost+. And Postcards From Far Away is going to be under a minute which i dont think is worth it's own song.
  7. Aaah... good point.
  8. Not saying I am, not saying I'm not.
  9. At least that's what she wants you to think!
  10. I could definately see him as Dr. Who! Not sure where he'd find the time though...
  11. I wouldn't be so quick to rule it out. Surely there'll be at least one song which will promote this new EP? Non-obsessed Coldplay fans need to know about it. Though, I gotta say 3 singles in 2 months is just plain bad timing.
  12. Figure I'd do a blurb THE MUSIC - STRENGTH IN NUMBERS Remember The Music? In 2002 they released thier debut self-titled album (and easy to google) The Music, featuring such tracks as The People and Getaway. They had only just gotten out of high school and already they are touring the world and producing radio hits. The second album saw the band vastly grow on thier songwriting abilities for a much more accessable second album. The Music were going to be huge, but young life on the road takes it's toll. Singer Robert Harvey became an alcholic and the other members were rethinking thier musical ambitions. It could've been so easy for the band to call it all off at this point. 4 years passed and The Music dissapeared from the limelight whilst the band got thier personal lives in order. With much help Robert kicked his addictions and began to focus on music again. Eventually they returned to the studio with Flood and half of Orbital to create thier most emotionally honest record to date. It's easy to see how The Music have evolved through this experience. Whilst the title track "Strength In Numbers" reassures fans that The Music are back and might have never been away, songs like "Idle", "Drugs" and album closer "Inconcivable Odds" could not have been done earlier in thier career. My personal highlights are "The Left Side" and "Vision", dark tracks with some of the best singalong choruses this year. The album's production makes for a challenging listen at first which has turned many people off the band's 3rd effort, however I found despite bizzare tracklisting choices this album just keeps getting better and better with each repeated listen. Whether you want to be swept away into a dreamy world or rock out and dance like crazy, there's bound to be something on "Strength In Numbers" which takes your fancy. 13. Once I listen to the new Computerclub and Snow Patrol records I'll do the final draft of my list.
  14. 1. Lost! 2. Lost? 3. Lost@ 4. Lost+ Though I never really liked the song in the first place.
  15. Neither are paticularly grabbing but Dig Out Your Soul wins for me, as I cant stand Love Is Noise and the rest of Forth is forgettable.
  16. On the special edition VLV cover, it says the EP contains "Glass Of Water" but lists no other songs. Does this mean Glass Of Water will be the next single to promote it?
  17. Am I the only one who actually likes Pablo Honey? It may be miles away from Kid A but it's still a great record! It's got You on it! Nuff said...
  18. I didn't like Take Back The City that much but I saw the vid on telly last night and really liked it. One of the best vids this year.
  19. Tell us what your favourite song was the first time you heard the album and what it is a year later. First time I heard it was Bodysnatchers, I didn't really get into the album much at first and Bodysnatchers seemed the most accessable. The entire thing has grown on me now though, and for a few months afterwards my favourite kept changing, but the one I seem to keep going back to is Bodysnatchers so I guess that's it. How many times have you listened to it on last.fm? Too lazy for last.fm. I've listened to it on my iPod a few times... can't say how many How many times do you estimate you have listened to it over the past year. Once? A billion? Don't know. What ranking is it in terms of favourite Radiohead album now. 1. The Bends 2. Hail To The Thief 3. Kid A 4. OK Computer 5. Pablo Honey 6. In Rainbows 7. Amnesiac
  20. So 2 singles are being released around the same time as the new EP? Not the best of timing I must say.
  21. Remember there'll be about a year between Prospekts March and LP5. That's a long time. Surely they'll release something in that time.
  22. There's a possibility, but then again this is the band that did "Yellow"
