To Pre-order or not pre-order
I wasn't a fan when X&Y came out - I ordered it off CD WOW for about £6 in November 2005 :P This time I'm looking forwar to going into a shop and buying it :D Then for the buses to be delayed by a few hours, and the trains to all break down. That better hadn't happen.

Any song writers out there?
Losing My Religion is incredible. From the second it starts it takes hold of you and doesn't let go. That mandolin just keeps looping and looping, like a train, until the slight pause near the end. It seems to go at 100mph. I love the lyric, "Consider this, the hint of the century". I don't exactly understand what the hint is, but it's just amazing. Ahhhh (runs off to listen). History seems to get a bit of 'stick' from fans on The Verve forums, I don't know why, I think it's a beautiful song. Inspired by a William Blake poem that we studied in English a couple of years ago called 'London'.

That's interesting David. Do you mean HMV are going to sell it relatively cheap, or are they planning on doing a "Buy Viva La Vida and get another CD free" kind of deal?

Weed should i or shouldn't i???
Cake is a made-up drug that Channel 4 show Brass Eye got a load of celebrities, including Noel Edmonds and Rolf Harris, to speak out about and warn people how dangerous it is. The celebrities fell for it and thought that it was an ACTUAL drug. The results were hilarious.

How do people have so many posts?
Out of bed, and 2 more to go! And so as not to make this a silly 'spammy' post, I'll try to answer the question. People have so many posts because they live, breathe, sleep, eat and drink Coldplaying. Ta-dahh.

Will Fair Trade still be on the agenda for the Viva La Vida era?

Coldplay to help ESPN market UEFA soccer championships
I loved the Eurosport tagline for Euro 2000 - "No sleep till Rotterdam". They had football shows on TV all through the night, highlights, chat, everything - and the final was in Rotterdam. Great memories. The tagline for Euro 2008 has to have Coldplay in it somewhere, suggestions lol?

Can you play Region 1 DVDs in the UK?
Thanks for all your help David. Now you mention it, I think there's some way of enabling multi-region DVD playback on the DVD player we have, I'll have to check that... If not then that £20 player would be a good option - it's cheap and it does the job!

Is this illegal?
No harm in giving it a go :) It'd have to be a proper jobsworth/git that would charge or fine you or send you to jail for busking.
