I agree on both accounts. Christopher Reeve really brought something special to that role...he played it with charm and grace....and ya know, I felt that with Brandon Routh as well. It really made me so happy to see Superman back again :nice:....I think Chris Reeve would have approved. And yeah, I was on the edge of my seat too! I appreciated that the fight scenes weren't over done. I wont mention anything about the movie itself, so as not to spoil, but the climax of the movie was filled with so much tension....really well done there. I think I may just have to buy it when it comes out on DVD...which is a big deal, coz I don't typically buy movies. :P

Saw it yesterday and (if you can't already tell by the new avi) loved it! Superman is BACK! :D I thought that the actor who played superman, Brandon Routh, did a really good job of affecting the same manerisms that Chris Reeve had in the role....which made it even more fun to watch. :nice:

I'm planning on seeing it tomorrow. In my mind, Chris Reeve was the one and only superman, so it will be strange to see someone else filling that role...but we'll see...should be entertaining.

UPDATE: All donations for the first charity installment for Zali have been sent to Save the Children. The sum for our first donation period (April 29th, 2006 - June 21st, 2006) totalled $334.23 USD. Nearing concert day for all of you!! :dance: Some of us over in the CCC were wondering if you'd like to help design/pass out Coldplaying Charity Club fliers, or perhaps participate in a massive "flyer hold up" during Politik (like the hundreds of Happy Birthday Chris signs earlier this year). I'm so glad you started this thread, laurazstar! Great job, Vic! I love it too (with the beans and all). I've started a few designs, which I'll try to finish up in the next few days. If anyone else starts designing posters/flyers, my only advice is that you are careful with your color usage. We don't want to suck anyone's home printer dry of ink! :lol: Could get expensive. Also, do you think its a good idea to make a sign to hold up during the show? This idea has been bounced around quite a bit before...and I think it could have quite an impact. Something very simple, but attention grabbing by virtue of (hopefully) 100s of people holding it up at the same time. There are 16 gigs coming up....let's get our message out there. We are the CCC, hear us roar! :dance:
