Though two worlds apart (literally and figuratively), I had a fantastic time in both England and India. It was really special to see family again. :nice: Looking forward to starting uni? Yay! I've got it to work again. I forgot the most important thing of all........if all else fails, restart your computer! :P Should have followed Apple's 5 Rs from the beginning: Reset, Retry, Restart, Reinstall, Restore Hopefully you can get iTunes working smoothly again!

I'm officially an enemy of Apple after this new iTunes 7.0 junk! :veryangry: :veryangry: :veryangry: Not only is v.7 super buggy, but the 1.2 iPod firmware doesn't install itself properly onto the iPod. Apple really takes the cake with this one. It seems almost everyone is having huge problems with iTunes and iPods with these new releases. Just go check out the Apple.com msg boards (maybe others have the same video issue?). But be warned, it's total chaos over there. Good luck trying to solve the problem. I'm trying to troubleshoot this thing at the moment too. (My 5G iPod seems to be a $350 piece of junk at the moment...can't get it to sync with iTunes anymore :bigcry:)

Hello all! I'm (finally) back from my 2 month, around-the-world holiday. Goodness, feels like I've been away for ages! :stunned: I've got lots to catch up on, but here seems like a good place to start. :nice: I'd like to apologize for not being able to send in our STC donation for last month. I emailed STC while I was away, and apparently our sponsorship is paid in advance through October. (I think this is because our first lump sum was so large). But I will still make sending in last month's cheque a priority within the next week. We can then begin collecting for the next donation sum. It's my own fault that each 'donation month' has been so irregular, so I'll try my best to be better about that in the next couple months. So nice to be back! :D

I also think this is a good idea! The CD's cant be manufactured and shipped for free, so we could have a base price that covers burning and shipping costs...then people could donate how ever much they feel is appropriate on top of that for the CCC. Perhaps it would be best, before anything else, to run this idea by Ian to make sure this type of activity is a'OK by CPing rules. There are tons of talented musicians on here and I for one would definitely purchase a CD. I'm away on vacation till September, so internet time is limited until then, but if you need any help organizing this project, I'd be more that happy to help in any way I can. :)

Gee, cell phones are getting so fancy these days. Though I do think that mobiles in Europe are far more hi-tech than what we have available America. I've never seen a phone take such good pics. Way to go Steph! What a pretty garden you must have. :nice:

These were pics that I had laying around on my computer from my HS senior picture 'photoshoot,' :rolleyes: hence the reason I have so many photos in the same location. :P In reality, I think I'd drive myself crazy if there were that many of me. :stunned:

Good luck little fishy! I'm rootin for the little guy too. :nice: I'm all for the 'tell the truth' plan of action, as well. Lies have a habit of multiplying very quickly... Your story reminds me of a similar incident that happened to me... Many, many summers ago, I had to fishsit (??) my neighbors goldfish.....and it was SO hot, they all died (I think the last one died of loneliness). I was like 6-7 at the time I think. Naturally I felt very bad about the whole thing and I had a fish funeral in my backyard. :shy: Thank goodness, I don't think the neighbors were too upset. Hopefully your cousin will be forgiving as well!

This past year I played Don't Panic every single morning while driving to work. It was the best way to start off my day! :D
