That's true. I remember the article. But that 'friend' source wasn't named and could be anyone - or no one. Whilst it seems likely due to how soon after the birth they separated, it is still just speculation. It could just as easily been an accident that she got pregnant. I don't believe anything that the Mirror says unless it comes from a proper named source. They make a lot of stuff up to embellish a story.

Maybe it's because of Nico. If her surname is Berryman, maybe Joanna feels funny changing her name back and having a different surname to her baby. That would be my guess. I think I'd feel a bit funny if it was my child. The more I think about this article the more weird it feels... :( I hope she consulted with Guy before being so open about things so he's not shocked when people know so much , or when journalists refer to it... I know it's good publicity for her but I feel a bit sorry for him about it as he's more likely to have to deal with stupid questions about it.

I've not seen that photo. Where is it from? This tour I'm guessing from the clothes but where have they done an outdoor gig?

I guess he probably did as her shop (her first business) was reported in the papers to have closed down with big debts. I can't remember how much but it was a lot. But I guess that is just the way divorce is and he would have wanted his daughter to have a nice home to live in. I guess he also probably wants to keep Joanna happy. Better she's positive about the relationship than the other way - selling stories about the bad stuff.

It's just media hype, just like most of this type of thing. She probably just mentioned that she liked the music and they just turned it into something else to get a better story. I'm not a fan of hers but I think everyone needs to remember she's still just a kid. She's grown up in the media spotlight and she gets given a really hard time. The media/gossip sites etc are really unkind about her I can't even begin to imagine how hard it would be to grow up with everyone saying how much they hate you and how terrible you are. Being a teenager is hard enough without that kind of personal criticism. I'm not saying what she does or says is great, but she's still young so people should be a bit more forgiving. Her life is constantly in the media, who blow every little things she does out of proportion to turn it into a good story. Look at Gwyneth and Chris. Everyone is really unkind about them and 99% of it is total garbage.

You're probably right. I guess if she's not used to journalists. They probably know exactly how to make people feel at ease and then encourage them to talk freely. I hope she isn't disappointed that the article is all about their divorce and not about her business... :( But I guess on the other hand, the whole Coldplay/celebrity connection is probably going to help her so maybe that's why she was so willing to be open and positive about her relationship with Guy.

Weird... don't get me wrong, she seems lovely and it is just amazing that she and Guy are still so close. So great for their daughter. But the boys have always made such an effort to keep their private lives private, never talking about it to the media etc, yet she's pretty much put all the details of their relationship down from beginning to end. It Just a bit odd to be that candid. It's more about her relationship and divorce with Guy than interior design... :confused:

He's only joking around. Neil Tennant was front row at the War Child gig watching Coldplay so he's certainly doesn't hate them.

Maybe he was a bit tired out after the Benefit gig they did that morning? I'm guessing he hardly ever does two shows per day and it must be hard on his voice. Was the gig shorter or did they replace those 3 songs with other things?

Who knows who's he's dating but as long as he's happy, that's what counts. He's still not wearing his wedding ring so I doubt he's still married. But they have a really young kid so his ex probably still does come out to visit when he's on tour so he can see his daughter. Doesn't surprise me that she would be out with him for a bit. It would be awful for him not to see his baby for weeks on end. The papers reported that the split was amicable, which is great for Guy seeing his kid. But it makes me think he's probably not dating Arlene as it would be a bit weird all three of them out on tour?! :confused: but who knows. She seems to make him happy whatever their relationship is.

I agree - it's good that he never retaliates with insults. If he did the press would just turn it into another big story and make it into a 'ongoing feud'. They're successful enough to that they can let their album sales do the talking!!

He does look happy:) Even with the paps around he looks really chilled out and almost cheeky in that last pic. Good for him. The whole tour party - band, techies and roadies - all seem to be friends which is really nice to see.

McGee is obviously still smarting over being so totally and utterly wrong about Coldplay! I'm surprised Eno would even bother to reply in the first place. When it comes to talent Eno has more in his little finger than McGee could ever hope for...

I don't have to pretend not to have done anything wrong - I haven't done anything wrong. I posted my opinion on something and Lori asked me what my point was and had a bit of a go about what I had said. I've explained in my reply post that all i meant was that when i saw her I thought Jonny's girlfriend was pretty. Simple as that. I have never tried to cause problems on this forum.

Calm down... my point was nothing more than I think she's pretty. I was actually being nice about her, which the last time I checked wasn't a crime. If people are going to comment on how she looks in a few photos then why can't I say that I thought she was beautiful when I saw her? She was and I'm sorry if you don't like it but that's what I think. Anyway, going out with someone attractive doesn't automatically make someone shallow. I don't want to get into a big debate about it as it's pointless and I like you, but I think I should be able to give my view on something if I chose to without being jumped on.

I saw her once, when she was pregnant, and she's A LOT prettier in real life. They aren't good photos of her at all. She's actually very beautiful in the flesh. Violet is soooooo big and very cute!! I love that she wears hats and stripes just like her dad. Shame for them that they are getting papped together.
