Well, more time to perfect the album. I have no complaints! I'm glad Coldplay is actually speaking out on this. Record companies take advantage of their artists way too often and it seems like EMI is even more on the verge of a collapse at this point.

Yeah that would be Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill". Fantastic song in itself, but Coldplay's own take on the synth melody is an incredible creation.

Amazon always screws up release dates for everything. I'd doubt the reasonability of this Amazon release date but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. What I really want is a good Coldplay album, nothing that feels rushed, so if it takes longer to release a great album, then I'll be completely fine with that.

So bizarre.... I always loved reading the comments on that page. *sigh* whats the world coming to. Anybody want to start thinking up worst case scenarios?

I feel sorry for Chris. Can't even take a piss without the paparazzi watching.

Trust me when I say, there will be a point where Coldplay just can't wait to get into the recording studio, and they probably want to as it is but want to refresh themselves a little first. I think its better if their quality of life is better while they're recording so we get the better finished record :D. 5 year break? Not happening, but as for a year or a couple, we could wait. We did before.

Im telling you guys these critics are all jealous saps who wish they could be half as cool as Coldplay. Parachutes is a great album and Yellow is their trademark song. This is one sap complaining out of millions of fans.

and Blender wishes they were making half as much money as Coldplay is.... with the same number of fans that read their crap.

Its been quite a few years since Coldplay released that album, so what does he expect, the songs probably sound immature or less complex than the other two. However, they were just a college band, and thats impressive in itself, considering that their music was and still is an incredible listening experience. I bet Chris is reading this topic right now just to feel better about himself :D

Yeah I don't think Chris will make a solo album. They agreed it was a team effort right from the start when they made the band. I have a feeling he never will

I love these two songs. Twisted logic, next to Square One, is Coldplay's hardest hitting song on X&Y in my opinion, and its got that whole space-ish sound to it. How You See The World, on the other hand, has a little political anger in its guitars, and the desperate tone of the lyrics really makes this one stand out. If you could choose between these two songs, or which one is a better choice to have been put on X&Y, which one would you choose? Personally, How You See The World has a little more depth and form to me, and its extremely explosive ;). But of course, i love them both.

The crazy Scientologist? Or the really cool action hero? Or just your average actor? (I doubt that last one). Personally, I think hes addicted to publicity but I also enjoys some of his movies. However, I will stick by my opinion that he is in fact, a joke.

United 93, which explains the story of the passengers that were aboard United 93, is not some Hollywood bull trying to find money in a story like this. In fact, many people will turn away from this movie just from its topic. However, I URGE everyone who has this in a nearby theater to go watch it. To call it entertainment would be rude to the film maker. This is a tribute to those lives lost on 9/11, and I don't know if I've ever felt so emotional watching a movie before, ever. This movie may make some of you feel completely nauseated, but please give it a chance. If you can't sit through it, feel free to leave. The passengers aboard United 93 need their story told, and I never truly knew how disorganized the military or government was, or just how brave these passengers were to overtake the terrorists aboard this flight. This is, perhaps, the most incredible example of genuine film making I have ever seen.

I consider Parachutes to follow a very similar formula, but all the songs are different. The same goes for the other albums. Spies is, however, ingenious ;)

I suggest the PODxt from Line 6 + a pedal for it. Its got over 32 amp models and effects, completely customizable for less than 300$. Its a complete bargain. When you're looking for a good electric, I suggest a basic Fender. They're not that expensive, and they sound GREAT. I also suggest going to your local shop and trying a few guitars out. The lesser quality guitars will start to get out of tune the higher you go on the fret, so watch out for that. I hope your guitar shopping ends very nicely :D

Eh Gravity and Proof are both a little too slow for an album release, as good of songs as they are.
