  1. ;) 10:30pm and it's not dark... I love midsummer nights! Kara, when are going to New York? :)
  2. Bye Steph! By the way, I just saw berrywagon on the autobahn lol...
  3. Haha, that would be fantastic! You can visit my home between June 28th and July 12th. My parents are going to Spain at that time. :P
  4. Hehe Kara, yeah people coming from other countries are often quite slowly. ;) Most of the motorways don't have a speed limit. On the A2 between Hannover and Berlin there are always light signs. Sometimes they show 120kmh, maybe because of an accident, but if these light signs are off (and that's very often), you are allowed to drive as fast as you can. ;)
  5. Hehe, ok thanks for the information! :nice: What kind of food did you buy? I don't like to eat cold Ravioli or something like that. I think I will buy some toast lol.

  8. On the way there the fastest one was approximately 190kmh I think! There was no traffic jam... ;) But the return journey wasn't very fast... :dozey:
  9. Thanks Flo, sally and Julia! Hehe Flo, no I prefer driving on the "Autobahn". ;) God, I'm so in love with Berlin! :nice:
  10. Hey Kara! I just wanted to ask the same question Steph! :) "Lift Me Up" is also very nice. Hm, I have to look for records of Moby... maybe my father has one. Ah Therese, that sounds so good! :) Hm, normally I think no one celebrate midsummer night in Germany, but in a village a few kilometers away from me, they alaways made a traditional ceremony. ;)
  11. I like some songs of him. My favourite one is "Porcelain". ;) No, I wasn't running today. I was driving from Berlin via Hannover to Bremen. God, I like driving on the motorway! It's such a great feeling lol. Therese, are you going to celebrate midsummer night today in Sweden? :)
  12. Awwww, thank you so much Mariana, sniggirb, Kara, Steph and Therese! :nice: You were right Kara! Well, I'm sure I also have a picture of me without sunglasses, I only have to find it. ^^

  15. :) I haven't seen a supporter of Ecuador who was unfriendly. ;) They always wanted to change the shirts. :nice:
  16. Yesterday, Germany won 3:0 against Ecuador! I was watching the game in Berlin and it was so fantastic! Ecuador rules! Their supporters are very friendly! :) "¡Sí se puede!" "¡Sí se puede!" :nice: Hope Ecuador will reach the quarter final.
  18. At the end... I've made 2 short films... http://rapidshare.de/files/23686919/RMOV1050.AVI.html A short film during the German national anthem. I know the lyrics… instead of German musician Sarah Connor! :D :P http://rapidshare.de/files/23687966/RMOV1071.AVI.html Another film where I’m walking at Potsdamer Platz and nearly everyone sounded his horn. :nice:
  19. Yesterday, my family and I were in Berlin to watch the World Cup match between Ecuador and Germany! It was an unbelievable experience and I’m still excited about it. It was definitely one of the best days I’ve ever had. Personally, Berlin is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. I’ve seen so many new buildings and monuments between Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate which weren’t there two years ago. The city is always changing and I really like it! The weather was wonderful (very sunny, 28 degrees) and we arrived at the Olympic stadium by tube two hours before the start of the game. There were so many possibilities to waste your time, so I’ve bought a German shirt there. Later we went through the gates where we met some nice supporters of Ecuador! All of them were really friendly and the mood was absolutely fantastic. “¡Sí se puede!” ;) I was excited about the seats when we went into the giant stadium. It was better than I expected to be. The stadium is so amazing and it’s the biggest one during World Cup. The view was great and I couldn’t wait until kick-off. The German squad did a great job and Miroslav Klose is really a football God! His goals were wonderful! After the game the mood was so nice. Supporters of Germany and Ecuador celebrated, because both teams have reached the next round. My family and I went to the tube to come to Potsdamer Platz. In 1990 there was absolutely nothing and now there are big skyscrapers everywhere. It’s my favourite place of Berlin! All people sounded their horns and nearly everyone celebrated the victory over Ecuador. We went to Starbucks Coffee and visited the big World Cup studio of ZDF (Second German Television). After that we went to the “Fan Meile”, the biggest World Cup mile on the world. Over 800.000 people were between Ernst-Reuter-Platz and Brandenburg Gate. Everyone was watching the game between Sweden-England on the big screens and the mood was incredible! At half-time we went to the Reichstag. On the field in front of this important building sponsor Adidas built up a new little Olympic stadium where you can watch all World Cup matches in it. Outside there were a few fields where a lot of people played football. After visiting the new main railway station of Berlin (Lehrter Hauptbahnhof) my family and I went back to the other side of the Brandenburg Gate. The big blue football stood in front of it. Later we saw the British embassy. Rumours said they will show the English flag instead of the British one and it was true… Scandalous! :D After going back to the “Fan-Meile” we left the city by tube at 1am. Today we drove back home and I wasn’t amused. During World Cup Berlin is more interesting than before or after it and if someone of you thinks about going to Berlin… do it! It’s worth it! I think about going back top Berlin in two weeks, just only to celebrate in front of the Brandenburg Gate. Me standing in front of the Olympic stadium of Berlin. Inside the Olympic stadium. 72.000 people have watched the game, it was sold-out! Me sitting in the stadium…lol Goleo and Pille on the big screen… :nice: “Getragen von des Adlers Schwingen werden wir den Sieg erringen“ Potsdamer Platz two hours after the game. No comment… :nice: Watching Sweden-England in front of the Brandenburg Gate. Adidas “World of Football” with their Olympic stadium double. The Reichstag at night.
  20. Hehe Ophélie... ;) Kara, hope it's going brilliant. I'm still a bit pessimistic, because all my plans don't work... That reminds me... I still haven't got my money back from Ashcroft's cancelled concert! Bye!
  21. Jo, fahren nun gleich los, muss noch vorher zur Bank! :D Danke, viel Spaß beim Fußball gucken. :) Ciao!
  22. Haha, der war gut! Bis dann Felix! :nice:
  23. Hehe, I just took a look into my purse and the only thing I have is a 5€ note and two 20£ notes lol. So, I must go to the bank now. I wish you both a great evening and see you on Wednesday. :) Maybe you will watch me on TV tomorrow. Bye! :)
  24. Yes of course, I think my parents will take a lot of pictures includes me! ;) But normally I hate pictures of myself. Hope I will find a nice German hat and shirt there. :D
