  1. They better not mess with us :whip: edit: Davide Rossi twitted this just now My Apparatjik friends play in Berlin tomorrow night and I'll be playing from distance too in 'Frozen Fingers'!
  2. yeah that necklace was quite frankly horrible  But hey everyone has a bad day/period  They're not quite HQ, but this is the best I could get from the HD video :)
  3. I'm sure someone from their crew told some coldplayers that after the sound issues they scrapped the recording from Barcelona  We just have to wait and see, I want a DVD don't care where it was filmed :nice:
  4. I also believe they are "tired" of each other in the sense that they want to spend some time with their respective families (which is completely understandable, especially Brandon with two small children), but this has nothing to do with the Asia tour cancellation as everyone is going on about. That's what I was trying to say :)
  5. 7digital and amazon don't have it, I guess it's only on iTunes They should make a real cd so that more people could buy and help, all these charity things made available only online are leaving out a lot of people who will gladly pay for them
  6. Yup, we made it clear on the first post of the MM thread dedicated to the event :) I'm gonna buy the album now..A Message seems to be the most downloaded song of the album here in Italy so far :P
  7. Considering Dave and some members of their crew were already in Hong Kong when the announcement was given, all this bullshit journalists are getting around about the band being sick of each other and the rumours about a break up is getting on my nerves. After the first announcement people wanted to know more, they got it, it is a terrible reason, and still some people don't believe it. Seriously the things I read written by some fans are really sick, lack of compassion and humanity and just show plain selfishness on their part. @Laura: yes I recognise you, you were one of the few people writing in the Coldplay thread right? I don't write there anymore, I really don't like that board, but I still read :)
  8. Got the PM as well, and after reading what Catherine said I tought about trying again before answering (which I'm gonna do now)...no hope, it freezed firefox again, it took me a bit to be able to close the tab and my pc was making the usual noise it makes when it's searching for something on the hard drive even after I closed the tab. I think it's because there are too many embedded videos because it happens the same when I open pages with loads of youtube videos. Ah well, I probably am one of the few who still cannot see that page properly, not a big loss it seems from your comments Paula :P
  9. MTV Italy will broadcast it ad 9pm as well tonight :)
  10. Visit http://www.HopeForHaitiNow.org or call (877) 99-HAITI to make a donation now! More (some might be the same but without watermark) Source: zimbio.com
  11. Oh great, I thought it was my pc's fault, I always blame it if a website doesn't work properly :P
  12. I just watched it on MTV website (yeah I couldn't make it tonight) That was absolutely awesome
  13. They updated the news "unforeseen circumstances involving a serious illness of a close family member. The band deeply apologizes to their fans and hopes to reschedule their shows in these cities soon, we hope you understand and respect our privacy at this difficult time" That's bad, I really hope it's nothing too serious :(
  14. But if they "are recording", doesn't it mean it won't be live? :uhoh: Everything's Not Lost would be awesome, it's a lot of time they haven't played it live :nice: You're welcome :)
  15. I'm sorry for you guys, I know exactly how it feels having flown to the US to see Coldplay in Tampa..and you know what happened. I read on the killers official board some singapore news websites said it's someone of their families being ill, hope it's nothing serious and that they'll be able to reschedule the shows after Australia
  16. I just found out about this :stunned: Bono+Damien+Glen :bomb: That is one of the reasons I love Dublin, you go out, have a stroll in Grafton Street and see such things...I'm missing this city so much :bigcry:
  17. ET is Eastern Time (USA & Canada) PT is Pacific Time CT is Central Time (USA & Canada) they all refer to the USA, so in central Europe it should be 2 am on saturday and in UK on 1 am.
  18. Denise replied to meli's topic in Coldplay Live
I'm gonna answer in Italian no, le ultime date sono quelle del tour in sud america, stanno già lavorando al nuovo album e continueranno a farlo dopo l'ultima parte del tour :)
  19. The DVD is not on sale as it doesn't exist officially, the recording was only broadcasted on TV. If you want you can download a torrent of the show on DVD HD at coldplaybootlegs here :)
  20. January 19, 2010 - submitted by Sara, Spain Q. Hello Oracle I had found in the web an album of Will Champion called Crispy but I can not find any song. Is it an album of Will? Thanks Oracle The Oracle replies: It's an album by Wil Champion not Will Champion. There are some sites that have the name wrong and therefore have wrongly linked Crispy to our Will but it's a case of mistaken identity. and January 19, 2010 - submitted by Lucas, France Q. Hello Oracle As you seem to know every single thing about Coldplay, what is the extra lyrics that Chris is singing over the end of The Scientist in the Live at the Koolhaus 2005 ?? (the extra lines are : "I hurt myself today, to see if I still feel, I focus on the pain etc...) Is it a long version of The Scientist? The Oracle replies: Those are lyrics from Hurt; a song by Nine Inch Nails also famously (and brilliantly) covered by Johnny Cash. 21. Mmmmh I must admit I was not impressed by how Speed of Sound sounded live on this tour, it was less powerful than on cd, so I really didn't miss it on last year's concerts. Other than that I consider myself lucky cause even tough I saw them live in 2005 for the first time, I got to hear Shiver in one of the very few gigs they played it, so that's one song less on my list of Coldplay songs I need to hear live :P
  22. But here comes Ronnie putting a positive word: "It’s been widely reported that The Killers’ upcoming gigs on Good Vibrations Festival tour would be their last for quite a long time, with guitarist Dave Keuning’s comments to Australian Associated Press last week widely interpreted as meaning the band would be going their separate ways for the rest of 2010. “Burnout” was cited as the reason the Las Vegas ensemble would be putting things on the backburner for a while, with Keuning claiming they needed to get off the treadmill for a while after six years of relentless touring. However it’s looking like the full story is a little less dramatic. ITM got on the phone with drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr. shortly after the reports were published, and he was intent on hosing down any reports of an extended hiatus. Vannucci emphasised the ‘hiatus’ was more a case of a few members of the band looking to take a bit of time off, rather than any plans to go their separate ways for 2010. “Well no, because it hasn’t happened yet and we don’t really [have any plans to take time off]. I don’t know, we’ve got a few things up our sleeves. I’m sure there will be maybe a couple months of vacation involved. But some of us will still be pretty active, while some of us more or less want a bit of a vacation.” According to Vannucci, the band have already started work on the follow up to their 2008 album Day & Age. “Yeah, we’ve got a lot of what I like to call ‘cutting-room floor’ ideas and so on, left in the rubble from the last record.”" Source I always knew Ronnie was my favourite killer, he always has the right words and keeps his promises :wacky:
  23. I hope that's what Anna said, otherwise sorry for giving you a bit more of information about who they're going to work with for the next album Maybe posting a pic of Chris wearing the beanie that you haven't seen (and I have it) would have been more interesting :dozey:
  24. Love the e-mail Paula...and it's a lot of time since I posted it, so here it goes All hail the Apparatacle
