What's the point of re-ensliting a thousand times for any auditory documents is beyond me  Am I the only one with only an e-mail account? Damn them :bigcry: Oh well by ripping them here and there in the past I guess I already have all of the songs :snobby:

The Official Club Football 2014-2015 thread
I'm not as much fan as I used to be but I'm so really happy we finally won the Champions League after 45 years (even tough at that time it was still the Champions Cup), people are going around celebrating in their cars, it's awesome, it reminds me of four years ago when Italy won the World Cup :nice:

It could also be details about their second single (which was supposedly released yersterday according to their FB page) They know how to have our attention: the gig in Flow, the mysterious 15/08, the podcast, the new single :rolleyes4:

I was thinking it's the second podcast since Jonas' one was on monday :uhoh: Other than this they posted a pic on facebook about their gig in Flo on June 5, but there is also another date, 15/08 :inquisitive:

[May 2010] 'Roadie: My Life With Coldplay' by Matt McGinn
Mine was sent yesterday by courier (the worst Italian courier btw), estimated arrival day is on May 20, seriously normal post takes as much time, we send a lot of stuff to China for work with DHL and it takes three days at the latest, one week UK-Italy is a bit too much..and the tracking number doesn't even exist in their website, yay :dozey:

The Offical "The Killers" Thread
I love love love A Dustland Fairytale as well, it's my favourite from Day & Age hands down, but I realised this is because it could have fitted in Sam's Town without problems, the epicness is so sam's town's, the video has been directed by the same director of When You Were Young (Anthony Mandler) for a reason and I think it's a bit out of place in day & age, but that's just my feeling :)

Japanese The Blue Room EP
Yes and no, I never understood what's the policy of the main record label about these chinese releases.

SAFETY - eBay riiiiight now!
Linky  The starting price is quite high (don't trust him saying the last one on ebay sold for 500$ cause that's not true at all), I'm sure that if you keep looking you can buy one for less :)

Japanese The Blue Room EP
I've seen another one on ebay (this) and it's definitely not Japanese but Chinese. Chinese releases are usually "official", I mean, the Chinese record label knows and authorises them, but the music market there is completely without control, there are a lot of compilations from artists that you think are fake but they are not because the Chinese branch of the record label releases them. It would be great to know what EMI International (in this case) thinks of these releases. By the way, I moved it to the right section :)

White Lies
Anna, you lucky girl  I'm missing Muse in Italy (damn them for playing in the middle of the week when I can't move ) but I'm gonna see White Lies again in July not far from where I live, hope they will be playing some new songs :nice:

The Offical "The Killers" Thread
mmmhhh may I ask a question? Which album did you listen to as first? My favourite is Sam's Town but Hot Fuss is really close..Day & Age laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaags behind, like 10000km behind, I would have never become a fan if Day & Age were their first album :uhoh:

As much as I love the acoustic version, Sam's Town live as opener for the Sam's Town tour is better than any other versions of that song, for me ok, now that I mentioned it I need to go listen to it :escaping:

Am I the only one who doesn't have a clue what Glee is and what's the fuss about?

The Offical "The Killers" Thread
Just read Mt. Desolation facebook page or blog, he's not listed as a member of the band, just someone who is featured in the album for percussions and good vibes, so no, right now he's not doing any solo project or is part of another band (he is not the drummer) :) The band: Tim Rice-Oxley - Vocals, Piano Jesse Quin - Vocals, Guitar Andrew Lowe - Bass Fimbo - Drums John Roderick - BVs, Guitar Pete Roe - Keys, BVs Tom Fiddle Hobden - Fiddle Jessica Staveley-Taylor - BVs Also feat: Ronnie Vannucci - Perc, good vibes Country Winston Marshall - Banjo Charity Quin - BVs Jayne Rice-Oxley - BVs Francois Deville - Pedal Steel I might be wrong saying is a one-off for the future (no one knows if this band will go on doing albums after the first one), but that's what it is right now.

The Offical "The Killers" Thread
Ronnie didn't announce anything, he just plays something in Mt. Desolation's album, it's not his album and he is not part of that band, only a one-off collabroation, so that's totally different from what Brandon is doing. The thing that pissed me off is how they hyped up fans expectations when a simple news on the band's website would have been enough. I mean why me as a fan should be overly excited about this? Just because it has to do with someone from the band? I am not, at all, and I have a feeling this will be bring to the band even more fangirls than there are now, I'm really scared about this as I've already seen comments around of people who are excited just because it's ohmagawdbrandon :dozey:

If this can make you feel a bit better, it's a place not really easily accessible even for Europeans, no trains to get there, only car....a 9 hours drive from Oslo :dozey: they like strange...places :P

Lord Of The Rings
You know, that's one of the things I like about Tolkien's writing, he takes pages and pages to describe one thing or the landscape so that you can really picture in your mind how the Middle Earth he created in his own mind looks like. I really need to find the time and watch all the movies one after the other :wideeyed:

It should be the one he uploaded on coldplaybootlegs as well here :)

Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
April 12, 2010 - submitted by Becky, United Kingdom Q. Hi Oracle =-D I was just wondering this after I watched an interview with Coldplay in The Bakery. Do they actually all sleep together in one bed like Chris said? It's really sweet!!! =-D The Oracle replies: Ha, no! There is a bed in the Bakery that is rarely used but certainly not by the band; they've never actually slept together in one bed, Chris was just making a joke. April 12, 2010 - submitted by Steven, United States of America Q. What happened to the band who beat Coldplay in the radio contest? Did they become famous too? The Oracle replies: Gary Crowley, a DJ at Xfm radio station back in 1998, dedicated a segment of his show to host a demo clash. Coldplay entered several times and when finally selected weren't successful in winning; they were beaten by [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LATe4IqqI3U]Llama Farmers[/ame]. They went on to procure a record deal; firstly with Simon William's label Fierce Panda in 1998 (as did Coldplay the following year) and then Beggars Banquet. It appears they split up in 2001.
