Parlophone's A&R for Coldplay: LP5 expected "towards the autumn"
It's not that uncommon to do festivals and release the album after them. And "towards autumn" could also mean August. I like the idea =) Some kind of greatest hits set plus a few new ones

[25-June-2011] Coldplay @ Glastonbury festival, Worthy Farm, Pilton, UK
I'd love to go there but I can't. Anyway, it's great they're doing Glasto again. And we might get a video of it (and probably from the Rock am Ring performance too). Have a lot of fun, everyone who's going!

Thanks =) So it's either one or two days? Arcade Fire are definitely worth it =)

No, just the Sunday. Already going to Rock am Ring with a lot of friends, as I do every year. And even if I could afford it, I wouldn't have the time for two 3 day festivals in that period of the year (exams in July -.-) Anyway, Portishead are very interesting for me as well and are not touring thaaat much. So, Coldplay are not my only reason to go =)

Then you're right, of course. I meant headliners in the Coldplay/KoL category =)

The difference: One headliner each day. You're expecting 2 for one now ;-) Sorry. but KoL are too big to play a co-Head. There's no single festival this year that booked them as a co. And when they're headlining Werchter, they won't get a smaller slot here

Are you kidding? You're not a Coldplay fan but have more than 100,000 posts in a Coldplay board?- [3-July-2011] Coldplay @ Main Square Festival, Arras, France
KoL on the Sunday? Never! I very much doubt they're coming at all. Sorry folks. But Werchter and Rock am Ring/Rock im Park already have KoL AND Coldplay. You could go there, if you want to see both of them on a festival ;-) Edit: And Pinkpop- [4-June-2011] Coldplay @ Rock am Ring: Nürburgring, Germany (Live Stream links in 1st post)

That's a joke, right? What an aweful song^^- Chris voice live?
When he's moving a lot, as he does during VLV, it gets more difficult to hit the notes. Furthermore I think playing one particular song for a TV show is more difficult than a proper show. Because everything is focussed on that one song. At your own shows you can open with songs that make you get into it and the audience gives you more confidence. Just what I think about it- [3-July-2011] Coldplay @ Main Square Festival, Arras, France
Portishead are awesome too! But I'm not sure if everyone of you will like it. Mainly chose this one because of the coldplaying group and the great french audience. Rock Werchter would have been nearer but that day is sold out now anyway :D- [3-July-2011] Coldplay @ Main Square Festival, Arras, France
:laugh3: hahaha great! Hope you like the other acts too ;)- [3-July-2011] Coldplay @ Main Square Festival, Arras, France
Usually festival goers don't queue before the gates open and sometimes they switch stages, so the front shouldn't be too much of a problem- When do you think LP5 will come out?

I agree, though I ticked September. Otherwise we should here something more specific about the record in the coming weeks- ColdplayingTV. (now online - channel link, videos in first post & YouTube)

Think it's a great song! Think it depends on if it fits to the album. Otherwise maybe an ep or b-side release. But this one's too good to not get an official release - An Amazing Time to Be a Coldplay Fan
