  2. yeah, if you want that you can just go buy skim milk and skip the ice. :P
  3. try this at home, kids! play "Cochise" by Audioslave and sing the lyrics to "Whole Lotta Love" over it (and vice versa). it works surprisingly well.
  4. i think it's weird that so many people chose "Fake Plastic Trees" for a love songs mix. anybody actually hear the lyrics of that song?
  5. i could guess as to what a manpon is, but i'm just going to let it go. ;)

dreams are a great indicator of what's really on your mind. i had one last night that's a perfect example of this, but it's a little personal, so i'll just keep it to meself. :D
  7. well at least you've found the perfect smiley for it. :)
  8. yeah, water does tend to water things down. ;)
  9. type in mother f ucker in various forms and you'll see what's going on. :D
  10. Today's TomPick: A Silver Mt. Zion: "He Has Left Us But Shafts of Light Sometimes Grace the Corner of Our Rooms"

  13. hmm....
  14. haha. i like "nice man" more than seeing "****" or something. let's try it again: fuck. fucking.
  15. hold on a sec. let me try something. mother fucker.
  16. i'm going to use that dreaded term which should make any At the Drive-In fan cringe: they play prog-rock. :wink3:
  17. i used to be. haven't really been that into them in awhile... the first concert i ever saw was Page and Plant at the Corestates Center (which was later the First Union Center and is now the Wachovia Center  ) in 1998. i still have the T-Shirt. :D
  18. just a thought.
  19. this should be fun. :D some are chosen for the lyrics, some are chosen because they just sound sexy or romantic as hell (those are mostly instrumentals). you can probably figure out which are which. The Flamingos: "I Only Have Eyes For You" The Beach Boys: "God Only Knows" Air: "La Femme D'Argent" Outkast: "Prototype" The Righteous Brothers: "Unchained Melody" Bjork: "Cocoon" The Album Leaf: "The MP" Zero 7: "Destiny" The Beatles: "Something" Ben Folds: "The Luckiest" Coldplay: "Shiver" Wilco: "I'm the Man Who Loves You" The Temptations: "Ain't Too Proud To Beg" The Turtles: "So Happy Together"
  20. in no particular order: Bjork Radiohead The Flaming Lips Sigur Ros Godspeed You! Black Emperor (even though i'm pretty sure those guys would never play a big festival) Do Make Say Think (ditto) Explosions in the Sky Wilco Super Furry Animals Mogwai The Beta Band Built to Spill Four Tet Boards of Canada (do they even do live shows? maybe they could DJ) Aphex Twin (that'd be a DJ set too)
  21. A Silver Mt. Zion: "Babylon Was Built on Fire"
  22. *shrugs* sounds like a good idea to me, although admittedly i know little about it so far. i hardly see how it qualifies as bush grabbing for cash (as amanda seems to suggest), although he probably should have thought about how we're going to pay for all this stuff before he proposed a collossal tax cut (not to mention thinking about things like education, home security, social security, and medicare that people actually need)
  23. the most interesting image ever:
  24. well that's pretty incoherent. i'm trying to comment on it but i'm not sure what (if anything) you're trying to say. :P
  25. POTTYASS MOUTH MOTHERFUCKER!
