i'm more inclined to be annoyed with the absurd press coverage he gets than to be annoyed by anything he does... do they really think we care that much?

it actually hasn't been above freezing here for a week. it's snowing now... i love it. :) even though i have to walk everywhere because i own no car and it's almost pointless to own a car where i live anyway. i just get bundled up rather nicely every time i step outside.

i'm curious, but not quite enough so that i'll sit here typing in dirty words to see which ones get blanked out.

i actually take medication for depression and see a therapist twice a week, so i could be either the best person to talk to about this or the worst... anyway, for some people it's not as simple as just being optimistic and hoping it will go away. but, as was said earlier, it's good that you're confronting how you feel about everything, because nothing's going to be resolved if you don't talk about it (talking with yourself doesn't count). also, i'll reiterate that going through that sort of thing is perfectly normal, especially at your age, as long as it doesn't last overly long (like, say, since age 6). i'd talk more about my experiences but it'd probably just needlessly scare you. :rolleyes:

maybe it's different where you're from, but "nigger" sure sounds offensive if anybody here uses it. :stunned: with a word like "yankee" it depends on the context in which it's used, i guess. the word itself doesn't offend me, but the way some people use it does. so i guess that fits your definition perfectly.
