  1. I like how you worked in the reference to your glorious new status symbol. :P Fair enough. :P
  2. sometimes people need somebody to point out the obvious. :smartass2:
  3. YEAH! THEN WE'LL SET IT ON FIRE AND WRECK IT INTO THE CHILDREN AND LAUGH AT THEIR PARENTS! AND... *falls down* WHOA, MAN I AM TOASTED!
  4. right click, "save picture as..." :P

  6. Or beer bongs. Accompanied by a stick figure picture of a guy who gets more and more trashed as you get more posts. In fact, this entire message board should be alcohol-themed. :idea2:
  7. The beaches down there in Virginia are heaven compared to the ones in New Jersey. :P But... geographical convenience wins out in my case, so I go swim in the puke-green waters of the Jersey shore.
  8. Not as much as I craved the pints of beer that used to be there. :P
  9. As much as I love Radiohead (and also vehemently disagree with them being called "trash"), I still feel like I have to point something out: MUSICAL TASTE IS SUBJECTIVE.
  10. I got a shirt at a goodwill store a couple years ago that has somebody else's initials monogrammed on it. It's kind of funny, because every time I wear it somebody asks who "JLK" is. I try to make up a different story every time. :P
  11. And all these months later we still haven't been able to find an answer to that question. (also, why is this thread in the "other music" section? )
  12. Actually... I just saw Open Water, and I have to say that I thought it was one of the most boring movies I've ever seen. The ending not only didn't surprise me, it also rendered the entire rest of the movie pointless. But at least the ending had me interested, because the rest of it was just excruciatingly boring. It almost works as sort of a psychological thriller (trying to explore how people would react if all of a sudden everything in their lives became meaningless, and floating aimlessly in an open sea is the extent of their entire existance), but fails at that too because of the actors' lack of talent and shoddy looking digital camera work (I understand they were on a low budget, but that doesn't make it any more convincing). Good concept, horrible execution. Anyway, I haven't seen the Village yet, but I can't imagine liking that any less than I liked Open Water. :P
  13. Except Muse. They do want to be Radiohead. :P
  14. I like how you worked in the reference to your glorious new status symbol. :P
  15. Hey, let's see if we can start any more topics that EVERYBODY IS COMPLETELY SICK OF HEARING ABOUT. Seriously, I got bored with comparing bands to Radiohead about three years ago. Every one of these threads can be summed up thusly: Coldplay/Travis/Keane/Starsailor/any other current pop band you want to throw in there wears their influence on their sleeves, but they're not Radiohead, and they're not trying to be. :P
  16. The Temptations - "Don't Look Back"
  17. I like some of the Dave Matthews Band's stuff, but they've had a few cringers too... I would define their genre as "corporate jam band." :P
  18. I click. But I not join yet. :P
  19. The Flaming Lips - "Sunship Balloons"
  20. Yeah, same thing. "thrift store" is just a general name for it.
  21. Everything! I usually come out with an armful of used vinyls that add up to about 5 bucks. And then a few shirts and a couple books on top of that. :P I do an alarming amount of my shopping at various thrift stores.
  22. Right now I've got Astor Piazzolla's "Libertango" playing itself in my head.
  23. actually... let's do a third Beatles song. :P I'm so tired, I haven't slept a wink I'm so tired, my mind is on the blink I wonder should I get up and fix myself a drink No, no, no. I'm so tired I don't know what to do I'm so tired my mind is set on you I wonder should I call you but I know what you'd do
