Yeah, there are groups around that try to write about that stuff, but without anywhere near the poignancy and insight that made Bob Dylan so great. Travis in particular, are quite cringe-inducing with their political statements ("Peace the Fuck Out"). :lol: If there are people out there that would be logical successors to Dylan or Neil Young or even Stevie Wonder or Marvin Gaye, they're certainly not in the mainstream like they used to be.

They've been talking about instituting a law like that in Pennsylvania (nearby Delaware and New York already have it). I used to be against it until I worked in a restaurant/pub and had to breathe second-hand smoke all night every night. :P So, long story short, screw the Galway Pub owners. :P

If it's just that one string, it might be possible that the string is buzzing against a fret or something, and you just can't hear it without the amp on. :confused:
