Best moment to listen to Lovers in Japan
I will not go in to details, but I can just about say that I had to skip Politik at first, but it worked out rather well after a few listens!! :) And the rest were fine, all of them (and I shall stop there!) The new album will be great, but if she is indeed my true love then when we get to DAAHF we'll both burst out laughing when the cheesy guitar comes on. Don't get me wrong, I love the track, but...

I love banter as much as the next elephant, but...anyone up for getting back on topic? (After all it's a rather nice one! :D)

Doctor Who ???......
An absolutely astonishing episode, loved every single second of it. Donna was magnificent. I was possibly her biggest critic in TRB, and I hated her sketch show, but this series she's been a revelation from episode 2. I will miss her sooooo lol. The weakest link (so to speak!) for me was Rose. Billie's said that she found it hard to get back into character, and that was pretty obvious to me, wasn't the Rose of old at all, not even close. And the way she was talking, had she just had major dental surgery? :\ It's not confirmed, but I'd say it looks slightly more probable that he's staying for the time being than leaving :) I must say I'm a bit concerned about the next two episodes. The following are all probably playing a part (and many of them for a final time): Donna Rose Martha Jack and the whole Torchwood team (including the dead ones!) Sarah Jane and her whole team Daleks The Trickster (SJA baddie) PLUS the Big Bad of not only this series, but the whole of the four series so far (quite possibly)!! Oh and there's also some character called the Doctor or something to fit in somewhere. Looks quite crowded to me! :shocked2:

16-Jun-08: London - Brixton Academy
Did you see Kash after the gig by the stage door? I was with him and I think I met you very briefly too. That link's not working for me...? (And Jeez when it is I hope no pics of me are on there!)

Best moment to listen to Lovers in Japan
This song's going to be played wherever I am when I finally am able to return to my old home of Osaka, Japan!! :D My dream is to get a ticket to see Coldplay there this summer, and my friends in Japan are working on that right now for me (though it's long been sold out and will be almost impossible to get a ticket, so my hopes are slim). If I do make it, somehow, I'll take pics of all my special moments with this track and post some of them here :)

There were at least three financial types from the city there. One was right behind me, he was quite excited! Then of course there was Nick from the Apprentice without his wig :D

Hi!
Sounds nice! My relatives live up there and tell me there lots of pubs as well. Beautiful countryside and pubs - what a wonderful combination!

Coldplay never let me sleep haha - I was just about to go to bed last night when I came across the concert on TV again :) Having watched it a few times now I have to say that the crowd at the front were incredible - it was hard to get a sense of that at the back, where people were very quiet and lifeless. Was it just me or was there a lot of post-production on the sound that made it sound far less live? Really hope someone recorded this in high quality and will make a torrent.

I don't want to hear Fix You, Yellow, Trouble in concert anymore
Wow, there seems to be a lot of support for Warning Sign - I didn't think it was one of their more popular songs! :)

I'm with you too, maybe we can deliver a petition for Warning Sign to the bakery?! Actually on that recent Canadian interview the guy asked Chris to talk him through every song on the first two albums (or was it three?) and when he got to Warning Sign he said something like 'it's boring but we're going to start playing it live again' :) His comments about Yellow and Clocks pretty much convinced me that they'll never drop them live. Trouble's nice live, but I've heard it loads, I really wish they'd rotate it with Shiver, Sparks (which is HEAVEN live), Don't Panic, Green Eyes... Yellow acoustic is absolutely awesome, I must say, but I'd be happy to lose Clocks and FY.

Obviously I'm rather biased :) but it's an astonishing end to the set! I wonder what they're going to do on the main tour, though, it's going to be really unfair if only the people at the front (most of whom will have bought from touts, at least for the O2 gigs) get to enjoy the butterflies. Perhaps that's where these mysterious 'magic balls' come in. I pray though it's not just David Beckham on the confetti machine :D

Aargh - Vista won't play the video in WMP, it just comes through as audio :( I agree Ron, consideration is key. I'm 6'2 and love to leap around and throw my arms in the air, so I'm always very conscious of those behind me. I try to find a spot where I'm not blocking anyone's view (which is usually nigh on impossible) and that was one reason I went to the back last night. The other alternative for me is to lean forward while throwing myself around which sometimes leads to a very sore back a la Monday night.

Great, thanks Mimi! Been watching on Youtube and brings back many memories, but I can't find part 3 and the torrent's still got ten minutes left. Zut alors!

I know! I thought you might be able to work out if it was HD from the file size (that is, is 361mb large enough to be an HD file)?

I've no idea I'm afraid, it's 361mb if that helps at all. Was it even broadcast in HD?

Tour setlist and production = to Brixton??
I'm very confident they'll add eight or so songs to the mix.

Kash is too kind - the truth is that the 'small glitch' was on MY part (me not having slept properly for days before the gig, and asking him to remove pics of me that made a zombie look like a new born babe in comparison, lol) He took some incredible pics of an astonishing gig, I hope everyone enjoys them :)

So many thanks for that, it's so hard to find things on here at times, especially when search is disabled! I'm on a relative's PC right now (my own 'super PC' blew up a while ago trying to cope with getting me Brixton tickets :() and it's on Vista which has flagged that file as a serious threat. I must say I trust the members here more than Vista, but I've got to be careful as it's not my machine. Has anyone had any problems with this file?? Or (more hopefully) anyone opened it and can verify it's clean? I think you're absolutely right, and my idea was wrong Mimi. Damn you BBC!!

Oh my, I thought ALL shows on BBC were available in the UK on iPlayer :bigcry: Gosh, if anyone finds a torrent could you very kindly PM me please in case I miss it? Seeing the back of my head a couple of times means the world to me (plus I wouldn't mind seeing the actual gig of course lol). My sis's partner recorded it to Skybox at least, if anyone knows how to pull it from that please also do let me know.
