Unfortunately I don't think their site can be trusted - they still list the o2 gig on the 16th as a 'new date just added' :confused:

Please don't be sorry Kara - there is absolutely no need at all, and it's just great that some more of us managed to get tickets :) Even if it says I'm online here I'm probably off somewhere else, and just left the computer running and myself signed in here for when I get back. It's rare I turn it off at all during the day (probably why my main one has just blown up lol) There must still be some slim hope. I'll probably be in Brixton right up to the last minute trying to get in. I surely will somehow :)

I'd say absolute max length would be 1 hr 50 mins - if they for play that long I'll be exceptionally pleasantly surprised.

They changed the rules at the last minute (or even while registration was open?) The last thing I read before registering was 'first come first served' so when my entries were accepted within the first 15 minutes I gave up. If I'd known I could have carried on with friends' details (they were too lazy to bother, the gits!) and I would have been sure to go...oh well, another farce of a competition. Again, my disappointment aside, I'm really delighted for all you who have won - have a great time - chants of Coldplaying for all of us listening at home please! :D

Well at least it won't be Justin Timberlake, with sales driven by the huge amount of interest in his online forum in the last week or so :D

It looks like ebay are dealing with it - the listing's been deleted from the 'completed listings' section. It's either a cover up by ebay or the seller will be in some trouble now :)

My ex got me into them when I lived in Japan (she's a native). I'm trying to get tickets for one of the Japan gigs this summer. It'd better be for Osaka and not Tokyo or she'll be there which will be very odd :o

That's really good of you Sandi - your posts have the spirit of Coldplay all over them :) I know it's very hard, but this week is too exciting to let the Brixton debacle get us down. The first Coldplay album for three years and for many people the best since A Rush. Loads of Coldplay on the radio. Great quality streams (and rips ;)) It's pure positivity all the way now, BBC or not (as that one is just too unlikely really, so no surprise if I don't win a single ticket).

Nah not bitter, but I will be a bit disappointed if people crow about it TOO loudly on here, knowing that there are so many disappointed folk about. I was a bit bitter yesterday, but only about how the comp was run, I was glad for the real fans who got tickets - a bit jealous of course, but delighted for em. Lucky buggers!

It only takes a few seconds to check for listings and then report those you find. If a few of us continue checking every now and then over the next 24 hours (when the redemption codes expire) then no-one will be able to sell through ebay :)

Feeling a lot brighter today and hope you all are too. If Coldplay don't mind playing to a 3/4 full audience and having some of their best-looking, talented and most-devoted fans not get in then it's their loss not ours, ha! :) I've reported three sellers to ebay this morning for trying to hawk these FREE FOR FANS tickets, and all three seem to have been removed. I reported that the conditions of the draw were that the tickets are non-transferable and must not be sold on. Let's hope these people who obviously have no intention of going don't redeem their code, and the extra tickets are released back to FANS!

Nick, Jackus, everyone, we have all lost and it's heartbreaking... I probably won't be visiting this thread anytime soon, if again at all, but just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their camaraderie, funny jokes, and positivity all through this. We won't be going, but damn we've had some fun along the way :) Lurkers have de-lurked to glorious effect and I think many of us have bumped into new people who have cheered our day. This has been abysmally run imo. I'll certainly enter any comps again, but will expect to lose as I surely will again if the organisation's not improved over this time. The very fact only a few people here won tickets show how many entries must have been received. I may still head up on Monday on the off-chance, but only if I have a back-up plan to listen to the gig somewhere and enjoy it as much as I can if I don't get in. Which isn't very likely, unless the weather's fine and a ton of us meet up somewhere with a portable radio and a crate of beer for a singalong. Maybe we should start a thread about something like that...? Wherever I am I will just try to enjoy the new live music as much as possible, and look forward to the BBC gig. Three entries got through for that one in the first twenty minutes, so I'm hopeful. If I get more than four there will be two spare and they will go to some of the fine folks on this thread. We all deserve a little something I reckon. Thank you so much again to everyone. Let's try still to be positive (hard as it is after a kick in the proverbials like this) :)

People offering silly money on here for tickets is just a further slap in the face who haven't won, but who would have given their spare ticke to another fan for what it cost (i.e. NOTHING!) I understand that people will go to any lengths to get tickets but I wish this wasn't the place for it.

As far as I know it's illegal to sell these tickets on ebay so I'm reporting all those I see.
