A final thought from me for today. Debs has been brilliant at getting back to me, it's been very kind of her. Reign of Fire...Strawberry Hill Where did you get these mash-ups? :D I loved X&Y, I don't understand why it's regarded quite so poorly as it is around here, but this album's far better I'd say. More variation, more colour, more ideas. They couldn't have done much better to my mind. Loved the Status Quo comment, I've been thinking that for ages! (But still love it :))

Ticketmaster have a history of selling the worst seats first in my experience. It's why I'll always go elsewhere first if I can, but sometimes (like here) you're just cutting your nose to spite your face not to use them when really good seats come up. There's also the fact that blocks of great seats are reserved for Coldplay's guests. They'll always over-estimate how many they'll need, but closer to the gig expect a few more to be released - probably great seats and only a day or two before the actual event. Please don't blame the corporates for this. At the O2 they don't get the front seats they have boxes (around the top of the first tier I think). If you're at a bar for those blocks you'll spot the guys in the suits asking 'so who's playing tonight?' I know this because my friend has a box at the O2. Really, it's about time he took me instead of his business buddies, but I've bought tickets myself because (though I'm poor lol) I don't want to spend the evening with those kinds of people. Duckette, you are kind even though you're disappointed. A credit to Coldplay.

Surely they won't let the band play to a half empty venue, will they? I'm thinking that once the band's due on people who haven't got tickets will be let in to make up the numbers. Considering how painful this process has been already, though, I probably won't be going up on the off-chance. It's a bit of a trek, but try the Journeyplanner website for the exact details.

I'll buy you a beer for sure :) These are incredible tickets, and now I'll be seeing Coldplay twice just before Christmas (the same as Earls Court). Let's just hope the change the setlist a bit this time.

This is being handled terribly. Why even bother to accept international entries if you're not going to give people enough time to get into the country? I have a very bad feeling about this, I hope I'm wrong. Welcome pinksula :) Ah well at least some good has come of this debacle - a few lurkers have been tempted out the shadows to join us on the forum! I wish I'd seen your post about that - it would have saved me a lot of grief over the weekend. 'Early next week' sounds like Monday or Tuesday to me, but at this rate, who knows?

If Lovers in Japan (acoustic) was on the album I'd vote for that, but otherwise there's no clear choice for me.

My goodness, that's dedication, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I've just had a PM from a member from Eastern Europe asking aboutr the tickets. I'm starting to think there must be (hundreds of?) thousands of entries from abroad. If something isn't done very soon indeed none of these folk will be able to go, and the gig will be half-empty, or worse. What the devil are they playing at? Coldplay.com is back up and no changes. Anyone who wasn't reading this here has probably assumed they haven't won, and may have made other plans for that day now - more tickets that won't be able to be used.

Cobalt would you be flying to London from Oz for this gig??
