Brian Eno: 'Without me, Coldplay would be been zonked out'
I hope what he actually said was taken out of context. To be honest with you, I don't see why people think the sun shines out of his a*se, he ain't all that special, I had hardly knew his name before he worked with coldplay.

Age range on this forum... anyone over 30 here...? (Thread for old people)
Hello fellow oldies, had a rough day today, struggled to go to work, its hard work these days with my bones creaking as they do, I also found more grey hairs to add to my growing collection, and a few more laughter lines. But what did chear me up was that I met an elderly family friend and she showed me photos of her newest great-grand child, and then I saw his dad who is a guy I went to school with and he looks 10 years older than me, so Its not all bad!!! I am 32 by the way.

Have you ever met the Band?
only in my dreams.......

What song initially turned you onto Coldplay?
I remember hearing songs like Trouble, Yellow, and In my place, but wasn't really into that kind of music then, I really liked Clocks, but still didn't really care who the band who performed it were, it wasn't until I heard Speed of Sound for the first time that I wanted every piece of music this band made and then I realised that all those songs I heard all those years ago were by the same band!

Studio Noises
I have heard some of the studio noises but I think I'll be listening to the album more closely in future!!!

Viva la vida is an absolute disappointment
First time I heard it I was abit taken back at the new sound, I actually didn't think much of it, but then I was very tired and I only could stay awake because I wanted to hear the album as soon as I possible could as I had been away and didn't want to wait another day (already waited an extra day as it came out a day later in Ireland where I was at the time), the next day, more awake, and oh my god, my brain nearly exploded!!!! The music lifted my soul like never before, its an incredable piece of work.

I don't want to hear Fix You, Yellow, Trouble in concert anymore
when I say this, I mean I am not really a fan of these 2 songs. I have to add, I haven't seen coldplay live before, but I guess I don't know what I'm missing when they do perform them live right? I am putting the 'seeing them live' thing right, or I will do come the end of the year, I'm going to both the manchester shows in december.
