Small Reminders/Updates & The Coldplay Messenger (feat. Roadie #42!)
Bummer - I really wanted to see Elbow in Tampa. I didn't realize they'd been around for so long.

Oh, that's tough, but how amazing would that be? Did they give you the option of waiting for a Tampa reschedule? Of course, if it were me, I'd be on the next plane. And London is well-marked and not difficult to get around and it's all in English, lol. You could go by the Bakery! And could you get your daughter a passport in time? I'm sure you could get it expedited. And if your daughter really can't go, my birthday is Sept. 18, you know..... Ok, so that's an incoherent ramble. lol

Ha ha, maybe they should sing that instead of Billie Jean.

I thought I would be cured in Tampa, but dammit, they postponed the show - so now I can't stop. I won't stop until I get one of Will's drumsticks, lol.

The Irvine pit was awesome, only like 160 people, 161 if you include Gwyneth moving down from her box in Sec 6. We moved down to the 3rd row for the 2nd encore, and we felt like we were *right* there because the pit was so tiny. Home Depot must have had like 3000, by the time the show started, all the white areas were pretty filled in. We had seats in the 19th row behind the pit, and we were really far back from the stage.

Even though it said this pit held 1400, it looked much smaller than I thought it would. And remember the side ramps would be in there too. We would have been very cozy. At Home Depot Center (July 18, Los Angeles), the pit was enormous and another view after the show

I must say that the iTouch ranks, in my opinion, as one of the greatest inventions ever. lol I do not have an iPhone, because we are stuck with verizon until the end of time, but I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my iTouch. Congrats on getting one - which one did you get? I was going to just get the 8gb, but decided to go to the 16gb and I'm so glad I did. I've only used 9 gb, but that means I can add a lot more still. And get a cover for it! The back scratches really easily.

Thanks. I had such a fun time with Kelly, Denise and Helena. I was so glad to meet and hang out with people with whom I could discuss all things Coldplay and they didn't think I was some kind of stalker freak, lol. Kelly is now on vacation with her family, so I don't know how much internet access she has, and Helena and Denise are spending a few days in NYC before heading back to Europe. So if we didn't have Coldplay, spending the day with really nice fun people was a great way to get over the disappointment. Next time, I hope to meet the rest of you Coldplay freaks like me. ha ha ha We will have a great time in the pit and remember our afterparty?

89 songs and 14 music videos on my iPod. I don't download interviews usually, and I don't have any youtube videos either

I wonder if it was because I live in CA? I dunno, but it was irritating, none the less. Made even more so because we were on vacation and I was worried it would need to be signed for, so I told our petsitter to make sure she signed the "ok to leave the envelope on the porch" notice, so it wouldn't get shipped back to livenation, if fed ex couldn't deliver it within 3 days. It was fine, though, but geez $18...even tho I had free airfare, it was not a very inexpensive weekend. I got hosed on the darn rental car too, last time I rent from a no-name rental company! But, I'll do my damndest to get out there again...

While I'm not all *that* concerned about the ticket price, I am a bit annoyed that I had to pay $18 to fed ex my ticket to me. I bought it 2 weeks before the show, and the only option for delivery was fed ex - no print out, no will call, nothing else. My $104 ticket ended up costing $156. But I'm gonna hang on to it.

No matter how big of a fan you are, that first show just blows you away. They do that, you know, to hook you, so you keep coming back again and again and again. :D

Did you talk to that nice livenation guy at the parking booth? He felt really bad for people who hadn't heard, and told us about the sadness, shock and tears. I would not have wanted his job, especially when we saw the party Hummer drive up. MK is fun, but yeah, hot and exhausting. That's cool you got to see Jackson Browne, too. Are you one of us Coldplay fans of "advanced age?"
