  1. I emailed him back to clarify - lol - wonder if he'll respond again?
  2. Yes, it's the same Kelly - she's awesome and we had a good time. There's nothing like spending a day with people who share the same enthusiasm as you do!
  3. And still no news about rescheduling or even canceling Tampa :bigcry::bigcry::bigcry::bigcry:
  4. Jonny has a decent solo in 42, so it seems as though they each like the songs with their own solos. :laugh3:
  5. @Nancy - I got a reply from Anchorman just this morning. "Thanks for the pics Dianne - glad you guys managed to have some fun in Tampa despite the cancellation. Anchorman" It's not much, but at least it is something! And I also did what you suggested in your PM, so maybe that had something to do with it. I don't like him using the word "cancellation" instead of their official announcement of "postponement" though.
  6. Yep - we know how you feel. Why do I torture myself with looking at the amazing European pics? Although, I'm not a big fan of huge stadium shows, so that's some consolation. My idea of hell would be to be in the middle of that mob.
  7. No, my husband is not a drummer. It goes back to when I was in school band and learned to played drums, it's not easy and I was too uncoordinated to keep it up. I love listening to drum-lines and beats and rhythms. When I met Will, he was so gracious and nice, even though I was barely breathing at that point. lol It was easier to for me to talk to Chris than to talk to Will, brief as it was. And that beautiful smile, gah.
  8. I'm surprised no one has put this up yet. Ahhh, Will-legs....:bomb::wideeyed:
  9. Yes, Will is my favorite. I have a thing for drummers, and Will has nice eyes. I wish he would sing more solos - and I love his harmonizing with Chris during The Hardest Part.
  10. Yeah I know... And I'm wishing your husband happy, healthy thoughts for the next 3 1/2 weeks, and that he won't get called into work last minute. But just in case, I'll be here, passport in hand. Just letting you know...
  11. Coldplay is my number one. I listen to a lot of different types of music, Bruce, Bon Jovi, Green Day, Broadway soundtracks, and I love many Hawaiian singers, but Coldplay is far above the rest.
  12. Anchorman wrote back! I had emailed him a note with the "Coldplay-shaped fans on tour in Tampa" pictures that we took. He said, "Thanks for the pics Dianne - glad you guys managed to have some fun in Tampa despite the cancellation. Anchorman" Not a lot, but at least it's a reply from someone in the Coldplay organization. The word "cancellation" concerns me, though...because "cancellation" is way different than the last official word of "postponement."
  13. Reggie, the Home Depot Center is a big sports complex, with tennis courts as well as the stadium that is home to David Beckham (for now at least) and the LA Galaxy and Chivas MLS teams. Palos Verdes reminds me of Moraga or Layfayette in the East Bay. It's a nice area. Torrance was a great place to grow up - at least it was 30 years ago. I haven't been back for awhile, but it's surprising to me how many of my high school friends have stayed in the area. As far as the gated parking, it's to keep the beach goers from parking in their lots, as parking is at a premium there. I spent all the years of my childhood at Torrance and Redondo Beach. You are lucky to live in San Francisco, little condo or not. My husband worked in the city for years, for the Public Utilities Commission, next to the Opera House.
  14. Will likes IMP because he has his only drum solo at the beginning of the song.
  15. Ok, duh, my bad. lol And my bad eyes. Bad eyes come with age. :glasses2:
  16. If you have a mac, I used UnRarX to open the .rar and convert to .flac. Then I used a free program called Fluke to convert .flac files for itunes. To put them on an ipod, go to itunes preferences, import settings, then apple lossless. It worked for me with the July 19 concert, and it sounds great.
  17. Aah, now I remember. I've heard her story but forgot her name. Thanks.
  18. Fine, be that way, if you don't want your tickets, I'll take them. I don't give a crap what Chris' hair looks like.
  19. Uh, no. That would be "lucky Chris, no mic in the way!"
  20. Julie, I could hear Will just fine. The two of you did a nice duet. :P Thanks so much for posting it - can't get enough Will...
  21. Well, someone put on their youtube that the "guitarist made an epic fall" during In My Place, but I couldn't see it on the video...just wondering.
  22. It's just funny how there are videos of Chris' improv song and Billie Jean but no Will and TKC.
