  1. We got there early and parked at the lot at HOllywood and Highland. $10, and walked to the venue, about 1/2 mile. Parking around the venue was plentiful, but ranged in price from $20-35, lots of stacked parking and then getting out of that area looked to be pretty bad.
  2. Here are some of my pictures. Like I said in another post, the show was visually stunning, the sound was awesome and the boys were on fire. A different perspective was good for me, I was able to see everything this time. C-stage was right behind us, at the end of our section in J-1, so those of you going Wednesday or Friday, might want to casually make your way over to that section, if you can, after Paradise. Setlist was the same, I am loving the new intro to Yellow. I can't wait to see the show again tonight, from better seats, too. I ran into Imelda, and she said she saw someone get upgraded to first row, so great the band and their staff do that. In one of the bad photos, Chris is shaking the hand of a fan wearing the full elephant costume. LOL The pit was HUGE, much larger than I as expecting. There were a lot of seats, but it looked like they packed in a lot more people than there were seats. It was chilly, bring a blanket, we were cold before the show started. We parked at the lot on the corner of Hollywood and Highland, where the big shopping structure and Kodak theater is. Parking is a max of $10. You can pay the $4 round trip for the shuttle bus, but we just walked, a little more than 1/2 mile, easy walk up Highland. Parking around the venue ranged from $20-35, and a lot of lots were stack parked. There was a church on the corner of Highland and something that was charging $25, but not stack parking and the proceeds would go to the church. We got there pretty early, so the crowds weren't bad, but walked around a bit during Metronomy - not our favorite opener - and outside was packed...food was decent and if you are in a Terrace or Garden box, they have cocktail service to your box. :) We had a wonderful time, and can't wait to go back tonight.
  3. Cuba Gooding Jr was in our section, he walked past us carrying a huge tub of popcorn. LOL Uploading pics now.
  4. Nope. We were in the terrace boxes in the middle of the stage and no confetti. The garden boxes got a lot, though.
  5. In the car, on the way home. Cell phone reception was really bad so if there is a shortage of tweets, that's why. Setlist was the same, venue is enormous, there were fireworks. Short ramp that Chris didn't use as much as San Jose. C-stage was in Sec J-1. Crowd was mixed. I think it was hard for the crowd to be loud because the venue slopes up gradually and there is no way to contain the sound. Chris had a problem with his earpiece or feed at the end of Yellow. And many if the xylobands didn't work. But it is still a visually stunning show. The last several shows I've been to, I've been in the first row, except for San jose and I was in Row 4. It was cool to see all the effects, lasers, and to watch the show from a different perspective. I took a lot of pictures but I need to go through. Overall though, the awsome show we have come to expect from our boys.
  6. I see my seats for tomorrow night in that picture! Woo Hoo!
  7. I would kill to be in that pit tonight. Sigh. My seats are good, though, right in front of and in between those 2 white canopies, in front of X stage. I'm usually on the side, so being front on will be a nice change :)
  8. Nope. We didn't get anything yet. We ordered the tshirts the day we got the email, but Lauren had VIP in San Jose and she got a lanyard with souvenir tag, some stickers and her wristband early. I was hoping for the shirt but oh well.
  9. I'm sure there will be. Dang, this place is HUGE. My seats for tomorrow are right in the center, if you see between those two white canopies, I'm in the section in front of them. Then on Wednesday, Im in the section in front of that section, but more to the left. Not quite the 4th row we had Saturday, but oh well...It will be fun to see a different view :)
  10. There IS an X-stage! A small ramp, but it's there! Woo Hoo!

  13. I saw this thread had been bumped and has to see if anyone had been notified about tickets yet. They were accepting entries until 9am California time today. I haven't heard anything yet :( Still hopeful though!
  14. What does Disney have against you? They keep picking on you!
  15. I wanna goooo....but I suppose I can't be greedy...
  16. Yeah, I know...I was going to clarify, but decided not to, and leave it up to your imagination. LOL
  17. I ended up with 2 bands, they were given to me. The green one worked great during the show, but the white one didn't light up at all. Until... 1:30am. I was in my hotel room, going through my photos. The band was on the bed with my confetti and it started flashing. And flashing. And flashing brightly. It is now 8:02pm, and it is STILL flashing, not as strongly or brightly, but 19 hours later, is still glowing away...
  18. Ok. Here's the story. I can't make it out either. A friend of mine tweeted to Coldplay asking for a shout out for LFDianne because I was driving so far. So it kind of sounded to me like he said "This is for LFdianne" but I wasn't sure because it happened so fast and it is hard to make out. So I was hoping for a decent video. But now it sounds to me like "this is for Phil and banana" so who knows... Lol
  19. My face took up the whole video screen at a show and I didn't even notice it. Lol A friend who was also at the show actually took a photo of it and sent it to me. How could I have missed it? I was too busy watching the boys five feet on front of me. Lol
  20. No, during another song. He was on the ramp, might have been after IMP. I can't remember. Still hoping someone recorded the very beginning of Fix You...
  21. Chris also gave a birthday shoutout to Will's daughter, Ava, who turned 6 yesterday.
  22. Not sure I want to say until it's confirmed or not. But if anyone finds a Fix You video, let me know, please!
  23. Thanks! I NEED a Fix You video. I thought I heard something at the beginning of the song but it may have just been my imagination, but I need to make sure. Lol
  24. Would you mind crediting me for those pics, please? Thanks, and it's 2am and I'm going to bed!
