  1. Love the F up, too. Chris tried to take the fall for it, but it was Will...LOL Like a river to a rainBOW. Sigh. 5 more weeks til I get to see him/them again...
  2. LFDianne replied to Pris's topic in Coldplay
I thought he might say it was "too rude to answer" :laugh3:

    He likes that shirt. LOL
  4. He sometimes writes notes on his hands. Wonder if it's something to say in French.
  5. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_p1vTv-YCA]Coldplay Hollywood Bowl Us Against the World May 4 2012 - YouTube[/ame] He sings nicely in this video.
  6. I always love this part of GPASUYF...when they're all gathered around Will, just waiting for him to count them in. LOVE that he calls the shots in this.
  7. Confetti during In My Place. Balloons during Lovers in Japan now.
  8. They do Balloons during Lovers in Japan and the confetti during In My Place.
  9. Same ol' setlist as what? This is a new tour and and they have changed it a bit from the arena tour of last year. Added Princess of China, Speed of Sound, Warning Sign, Don't Let It Break Your Heart, Lovers in Japan. We all know they are never going to be the band that changes up their setlist nightly. The current show is stunning in its visuals and execution , and it is what it is.
  10. Just a few of the photos I took of Mr. C at the Hollywood Bowl. Can't believe it's been 2 weeks already!
  11. Just was notified that I'm an Oxfam volunteer for Miami along with Tracey. See you in Miami!
  12. Don't ask for a source because I honestly can't remember where I read/heard it, but there was mention somewhere last November/December that Phil wasn't going to be at the arena shows because of his baby.
  13. Muse did a GA floor a couple of years ago at the Honda Center in Anaheim. Don't know why CP can't. Guess it doesn't matter here for this tour, since they were at the Hollywood Bowl - no GA (except for the small orchestra pit area) there.
  14. The paperless shows I've bought tickets for don't allow the use of prepaid cards. As far as the scanning process goes, it's very similar to scanning paper tickets. There are flaws and restrictions, I'm sure, but it gives fans another layer of protection.
  15. Weenie Roast is held at Verizon Wireless amphitheater. One main stage and one small stage on the concourse. The smaller bands played on the small stage between 1 and 3. The bigger bands played on the main stage starting at 4. Assigned seating too, except for the lawn area at the very top of the amphitheater.
  16. I've been to several shows that utilize paperless tickets. You must present the credit card you used to purchase the tickets, the card is scanned and you are issued your tickets on the spot. It's worked very well for those shows. If you purchase 4 tickets, all 4 people must be together to enter. Springsteen is one major artist who is doing this right now.
  17. Gorgeous blog by R42 today. Probably one of my favorites - love how he says how the band have evolved and it just wouldn't work to be redoing 2003...some people on the boards could stand to read and reread that line.
  18. The headphones? It was REALLY loud at the Weenie Roast, even backstage. The backstage area was all open air, and just on the other side of the stage. He's wearing the headset so he can hear the questions of the interviewer.
  19. Oh my gosh, those were hysterical. Great find, Tash! Glad he had a good attitude about the show in his backyard - I would have been climbing the nearest rooftop, tree, cherry picker to see. And I didn't' realize there were so many fireworks at the end!
  20. It was a tiny studio show with about 75 people, a week before MX was released. It was webcast, too. I was standing right in front of Guy and next to the morning dj's. They played Charlie Brown and I was dancing and singing along. A few minutes later, when the djs were asking the band about file sharing etc, Bean said to Chris "this lady here knew all the words to Charlie Brown and it hasn't been released yet. Don't tell me you haven't downloaded it?" Chris was just staring at me so I croaked out that I'd been to a lot of the live shows. Chris gave me a smile and kind of laughed and looked at the dj's and said "back at you.". They said so you've learned the songs from going to live shows? I nodded and they moved on. But it was mortifying to be accused if illegally downloading and put on the spot like that!
  21. This is my video :) Sorry it's so shaky. LOL But you can clearly him say at the beginning "This is for my beautiful and incredible wife." And when he turns around at 5:47, he says "This is for Gwyneth." I'm so glad he dedicated this to her. Beautiful.
  22. I was at the bottom and looking up, it was so cool to see! Chris even mentioned it.
