  1. The pit was filled with chairs so it was hard to distinguish where those three dots would be. I'm just feeling the more time that goes by, the less likely the show will go on. Three weeks is long time with no word.
  2. Who the frick knows...it's been almost 3 weeks and nothing. Even a "thanks for your patience, we're working on it," would be something. I emailed the Oracle - but I'm sure she won't say anything until an official announcement is made. If you want a refund, you can call LiveNation, and I'm sure by now, they'll process one. I'm not willing to give up hope yet - my ticket is paid for, so I don't need the refund yet. I'm working on building up my miles again, though, just in case.
  3. Um, Chris is not shrimpy...he's actually quite tall. Here's a picture of him standing next to my husband who is 6'2". Will is tall, as well. That's me and Will in my avi, and I'm 5'11".
  4. I won a radio contest to meet them. The band were running very late that day. It was also the day of the Stripped concert in Hollywood as R 42 blogged about in Blog 91. http://www.coldplay.com/newsdetail.php?id=450&page=0 It was very short, but I spoke to Will for a few seconds and Chris shook my and my husband's hands and apologized for the delay. Even though it was so short, we got a picture, and it was just amazing to see them up close and speak to them. I'm standing right next to Will and my husband is in the blue shirt next to Chris - Chris has his arm around my husband's shoulder.
  5. All right people. I'm off to the beach with my daughter today. Page 86 now, I wonder what you'll be up to when I get back in 3 1/2 hours? Try not to crash either site and don't overwhelm Anchorman too much. :laugh3:
  6. We're over 1000 posts already, ha ha ha. And how many emails were sent to Anchorman? lol
  7. Well, Jonny's probably in the shower...
  8. Ok, *really* nice ass shot. :bomb::bomb::bomb:
  9. Video football! There is a pause button, don't they know that?
  10. I have the mp3 of it that was recorded in Irvine in July. It's good quality, with just a little crowd noise, if you want it.
  11. Interesting, they use Blue Agave Nectar instead of honey. It's the bottle in front of the juicer.
  12. Well, he updated the food picture, lol. I want to see Jonny without his cap. :P
  13. It's lemon and ginger, good for the voice. Hot ginger-lemon water. My son drinks it before he sings, that or Throat Coat Tea.
  14. How funny - he updated the food picture, and the lemon is now cut and the cigs are gone.
  15. They're gone! It was a couple of packs of Marlboro's and something else.
  16. Good morning from California. 6:30am here. Are they still using U2s jet? Anyone have a picture of the tail?
  17. I have Cox and they only have 2 videos, Violet Hill and Viva
  18. I just posted my theory on the Hannover thread. Chris was sick the week between Tampa and Europe. I think the band may have planned on rehearsing additional material during that time, but because Chris was sick, they didn't have the chance. Perhaps they would prefer to stick with the tried and true, rather than something that may not be perfect. I know they briefly added Speed of Sound, but maybe they weren't happy with the way it sounded/worked out, even though to us, and i"ve seen videos, it was amazing. At the beginning of the tour, in July 2008, Chinese Sleep Chant was on the setlist - but I think it may have been one of those "silhouette" songs that Chris has mentione. You know, where the band sees the silhouettes of people heading out the doors to get a hot dogs during less well known/liked songs.
  19. dp - And one of the reasons I'm following all the other live threads is because I really missed seeing them! I'm loving the videos, live reports, tweets, reviews. I couldn't get enough that weekend in Los Angeles, which is why I went to Tampa. And until I see them again, I need to live vicariously through those of you who are lucky enough to see them in Europe. :) At the beginning of the tour, I have the setlist from July 2008, they did do Chinese Sleep Chant, but it wasn't received well - those infamous silhouettes in the doorways Chris has mentioned, "going to get a hot dog."
  20. My own thoughts on one of the reasons they may not have changed the set list is due to timing. Chris was sick during the band's week "off," between Tampa and Herning. I'm thinking they may have planned on rehearsing/changing up the set list a bit during that off time, but because Chris was sick, they didn't have the chance. They want to provide a great show every time rather than a show that hasn't been properly rehearsed. They informed the crew that Tampa was "off" Friday night after that night's Raleigh concert, so Chris must have been pretty bad even that night. Anyway, that's what I'm thinking happened. As for us complaining about Tampa, yes, it sucked. Especially for those of us who travelled quite a way to get there. But it's also been almost three weeks since we've heard *anything*...no news from LiveNation regarding refunds, although I'm sure if one were to call LiveNation, a refund would be processed. Some sort of notification would be much appreciated, even a "thanks for your patience, we're working on something."
  21. Aww, thanks. We have Cox, and I looked all over On Demand, and nope. Plenty of Britney, Demi Lovato (ew), Ashely Tisdale (double ew), Carolina Liar, David Cook, etc, but no Coldplay anywhere.
