Actually forget that last part about eye-candy, unless you do want to just ogle at the actors. =D And despite what I come across in that last post, I did like the movie and it had some good moments too (though mostly within the second half of the movie to the end). It all depends on how serious you take it and how much you want this film to be like the book.

Saw it at midnight. Though I could forgive some aspects of the film, due to having low-budgets......overall I say stick with the book cause the movie is only good for eye-candy. :(

well imagine the surprise of coming home, after a VERY rough day, to hear that the lead singer of my favorite band is apparently talking about retirement/quits. actually at this point i bursted out laughing....dunno if it was an impulse of calling bluff or the humor in finding out that the day COULD actually get worse. even if this turns out to be one of those BS moments by Chris, i would've still dropped everything for festival & stadium gigs in the upcoming year anyway (assuming those are indeed booked and ready to go), all to see Coldplay in person again for the Nth time and it'd be worth it. :dozey: wow i sounded apathetic, lol. i agree with the other poster before.....he was probably just saying whatever was on his mind at the time. frankly, it all makes sense and i respect the reasons for doing so (retiring from the job, i mean), but nonetheless........:cry:

my guess is that they'll stick with coming onstage at 9. the 8:40-ish had to be for some other reason (i.e.: venue's curfew, special event, etc.)

....apologies for being totally random, but i just realized the Anaheim gig for this tour is also on a Tuesday night like the last tour's. :P this will be the third Coldplay gig i'll be going to that's on a Tuesday night. hurrah! **semi-bored while waiting to call in :lol:**

okay the person didn't actually use "like" repeatedly, but for some reason it stood out. it was simply how he/she explained the whole story that bothered me.

ridiculous as this sounds, i'm having trouble deciding between a seat in section 204 row M........or a seat in section 104 row 10. (take the floor seat 30+ rows away from the stage, or the loge seat that's further away from the stage but with a guaranteed view of the whole stage). :embarassed:

i tried the 4 o'clock one....and for some effing reason, the phone rang and i was still on the line, but THEN it immediately switched to the busy signal! NOW I'M DEFINITELY THROUGH WITH THIS CONTEST :veryangry2: :cry: if there's any justice left in this world, let somebody on here (that hasn't given up yet!) win the tickets and meet & greet! ((wow, let's forget about this once the contest is over, asap. we should plan that get-together if anyone else is interested! :D)

i got a setlist from the San Jose gig :nice: assuming that security won't be jerks about getting everyone to leave, hang out and simply ask the person on the stage for a setlist. the tech guy who gave me the setlist was super nice and didn't mind at all (actually he joked at me cause i was so worked up about getting the setlist, LoL, but it's all good anyway).....gah, i should've asked for his name or taken a picture with him! (btw: what does Matt look like? it might've been him, i guess) if the setlists are gone, try for the guitar picks or drum sticks, or whatever. i remember someone on here asked for Chris's fingertape during the last tour.....:laugh3:....but at the very least you've got butterfly confetti.

*sigh* i kind of gave up on this to be honest....the contest times are right in the middle of work and there's only so much i can do before getting my bosses mad. :laugh3: but good luck to the rest of you! so uhhh yeah, i'll be in the back, either on the floor or right around the area where the boys may do their acoustic set ((unless they do release the good seats they've been holding onto)) :lol:

i my friend is bailing out and i have a ticket available available (i'm trying to get rid of it ASAP). if you're willing to do another search for another ticket and sit separately from your sister, then i'll be happy to offer my extra. but otherwise, i don't have a pair. :\
