  1. OMG.....(lol sorry I haven't been keeping up with the news. In fact, I haven't been on here for a LOOOOONG time :laugh3:). A few minutes ago I was browsing through YouTube randomly and discovered the video message about the postcards!! After sending in my postcards, I've completely forgotten about 'em (I wasn't sure how things were going to turn out, so uhhh I moved on....:embarassed:). I'm not sure whether my postcards really made it on that table, but since most of you saw your cards on the table (especially from fellow fans in the States) I can only hope or assume that mine are there. There's so many postcards, so maybe mine are hiding under? :P Still, THEY ACTUALLY RESPONDED TO US!!!!!!!!!! And it was really great to see the guys in a good mood from looking and reading through all of 'em!:dance::dance::dance: :D:D I just want to say thanks to everyone who planned all of this out! It's really a success
  2. OMG just saw the video for the first time and I LOL-ed so much!! :laugh3::laugh3::laugh3::laugh3::laugh3: My favorite part were when the pyros kicked in...the kids' faces were priceless! :laugh3::laugh3::laugh3: And the guy with the glasses filming the show was like "OH MY GOD! :stunned:" Aaaaaaaand...I'm not sure if the puppet-crew techies were indeed modeled like the actual real-life ones.....but the one that fixed Jonny's cymbal looks A LOT like the techie that gave me the setlist at the Anaheim gig  By far the BEST video. This beats "Talk" by a long-shot! :smug:
  3. the one that you got is from December. the interview is in the January issue.
  4. Good as well! Loads of food and plenty of "hearty" eating. There's no way I can make it past Christmas without gaining a few more pounds at this 'delicious' rate. :laugh3:
  5. For once, Grammy nominations is spot-on for the year! :shocked2: Coldplay better win most of their nominations. Proper recognition, mmkay? :D ((For some of the categories, should they be overlooked...grr... at least there will be another artist i'll like that gets the award. However at the moment, I'm torn within Album of the Year! Coldplay vs. Robert Plant & Alison Krauss vs. Radiohead....:wreck::P ))
  6. Girls Aloud, bigger than Coldplay? I think I'll go back to hiding under a rock then. :laugh3: But hey, it's probably not a bad idea to have Girls Aloud be the opening act for Coldplay.....it would definitely establish the boys once and for all as a ROCK band. :dozey:
  7. gah, another Wembley gig added?! that's TWICE the fun, you lucky people!! ((dammit somebody help me get "stuck" over in the UK for a month-and-a-half longer during this summer :laugh3:))
  8. Did it actually work? :laugh3: Hi Joe! Pretty good, sans contact lenses getting dislodged in my eyes this morning (ouch, lol). How was your holiday weekend up north? God, Chris ALWAYS does that during the most beautiful, musical moments. It's starting to drive insane (just a little)!:dozey:
  9. ^you were able to get a copy of the tags + info? i mean i shouldn't be surprised....but wow! :stunned:
  10. hurry up, new album release! the symphonic monster sounds almost too good to be true (but i hope it's true!).
  11. None....I'm considered a "psycho" amongst people around for going to almost all of the California gigs, let alone 3 Coldplay concerts in less than 4 months of the same year.
  12. The Brits have been awesome this year with music. I hope the artists will get recognized properly. AMAs =/= Grammys (by such a longshot at this point, maybe).
  13. i did manage to grab few from the Anaheim gig. not too much though, but i'll be happy to donate some anyway if you still need 'em. =]
  14. yes :) LoL something similar happened to me at the last concert: I HAULED on over from the other end of the arena to the side of the stage, and asked the techie (who was pressing all the buttons for the backdrops and magic balls......he has a ponytail and a beard....?) if there was another setlist lying around. The guy at first said that they were all gone, but in front of the table was another setlist (later it turns out, that was a copy of the Atlanta gig's). That didn't really stop me, and he quickly began to tease me while I was begging "PLEASEPLEASEPRETTYPLEASEPLEEEEEAAAASE?!" Next excuse he came up with was that he couldn't leave his position (but the way he said it wasn't very serious). :dozey: So, hey, what a professional for keeping focus on his job, right? I complimented him for his dedicated work ethic (all of which ended up being pretty funny cause he acted incredibly smug :laugh3:). While I ran to go get the butterflies, the same tech guy called out for me and then handed over the Atlanta setlist (pretty much the same song order for that night anyway). I also got to chat with him for a bit, and supposedly he'll be over in the UK for the tours too, including Wembley. :nice: VERY nice person on the production team (but I forgot to ask him his name...oh well).
  15. thank you so much, izzy (sorry, i'm still tempted to call you that!) The Hardest Part/Postcards/Viva la Vida was actually my favorite part of the concert and im glad you got it on footage to share :nice:
  16. Hah. Just singing. You could head out to a disco and party the night away. Or blast music and dance within the privacy of your room/home. But by now I assume you're not that bored anymore at this time.
  17. argh, i miss them already!!:bigcry: Cemeteries of London & Chinese Sleep Chant http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9R9UlpvRIRA here's the big moment of the night, for those in the back  ((LoL the people around me were awesome! pardon the screams and silly noises, btw. best part was that the ushers didn't do squat when everyone began to stand on the seats :P)) The Scientist (acoustic) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMNcu7usEgk
  18. :idea2: two words: Christmas ornaments i think i am going to do this for real =]
