hmmm....actually, after a few more listens just now.....it's not too bad, but the remix will be better during a live performance. when Jay-Z remixed Amy Winehouse's "Rehab," people that heard the recording were quick to shut it down, but @ Glasto it ended up sounding really decent. (well, to me at least). :dozey:

the jonas brothers cover.... i actually thought it wasn't that bad like people are making it to be (some of you kind of sound SO BIASED just simply because, imho). their music is definitely not within my tastes, but hey it could've been much worse. :dozey: but i do "lol" at them for having SEVEN people on stage to perform the music (instead of four....or five, whether another person is pressing the buttons or whatever for the backing tapes, if that's true...). the worst covers i've heard by any artist: Panic! at the Disco - "Karma Police" :dead: and some old Chinese/Korean woman singing/squabbling Mariah Carey's "Visions of Love" :lol:

hahah no i don't know if STAR is actually doing some intimate gig. but that's my guess, since that's something "big" compared to just simply giving away good seats for the concert.

oh no....these last few posts are :( before you totally lose hope: ~KROQ said they took out some seats within the first 10 rows (my guess is about half of that allotment are for contests? yeah, i know...:angry:). and STAR 98.7 said "something big" is happening.....*hint much? lol* ~the venue's holding back the good seats until the last minute. they ALWAYS do this! ~and if it actually "sold" out that quickly, then be prepared for another gig on Monday. i mean there's a two-day break from SLC to Anaheim (right?). ((on a side-note, my friends are ditching me, so I have ONE ticket available....i really want to get rid of it, so i'll be happy to sell it for less than what i got @ Ticketmaster :lol: PM me if you're interested! :))) so how 'bout that meetup? there's The Block, that new Gardenwalk plaza-area, and Downtown Disney....or whereever else... *edit* if anyone had sat around section 104, or the floor area in the back, how good/bad is the view from there??

WOW, one year already?! It doesn't even feel like it, to be honest! Since the day of the release, till now, I love "In Rainbows" and the hype that it caused. It's surprising to see a lot of fans actually responding well to this album because "In Rainbows" is so different from previous Radiohead works that I thought it might not go down so well. I'm glad it didn't, for a number of reasons, but mainly how people are actually agreeing on something quite new. :) Tell us what your favourite song was the first time you heard the album and what it is a year later. -After first listen, "All I Need" and "Reckoner" became my immediate favorites, cause those songs were the ones that helped my understanding of the album click-in. "Reckoner" is still my favorite, but I've grown to adore "House of Cards" too (DESPITE what other fans have to say about that song!). And after going to my first Radiohead gig @ the Hollywood Bowl, "Bodysnatchers" is AMAZING!! How many times have you listened to it on last.fm? I never listened to it on last.fm. How many times do you estimate you have listened to it over the past year. My iTunes library says that each song was listened more than 100 times. So yeah.....about 100 times! What ranking is it in terms of favourite Radiohead album now. This new album is great, but it doesn't really top the list for me.... 1. OK Computer 2. The Bends 3. Hail to the Thief 4. In Rainbows 5.
