nice pictures, everyone! :D we got snow :nice:. we're supposed to get even more tomorrow. usually i'd be perfectly ok with that, but i have a christmas party to go to :angry:

i would go crazy trying to drive with all those paps around. i'd be half terrified of hitting them, half really wanting to knock them over. i hate even driving in cities with pedestrians and lots of cars...i can't imagine trying to creep through a mass of people that are all trying to get a stupid picture of me. and who cares if they look tired?! they probably were. is sleepiness now a major headline?

aaaand the oracle's on holiday, so i can't ask more questions :sad: :P

the oracle admitted green eyes was about jonny! :cheesy: :dance: i like the butterfly question, but the oracle didn't say approximately HOW MANY butterflies are dropped on each show! :angry:. :P i've asked that question like three times now.

haha, i like the COLDPLAY parts of the video. chris also looks particularly gorgy in it, IMO. but the old lady in spandex and the man in the thong is just kinda...disturbing. if it was just them the entire time, i'd love it, or if the shots of them were interspersed with something less disturbing :lol:.

justin! :bigcry: even if you're not going to be on coldplaying much anymore, you better still be at tri-state area coldplay concerts so i can randomly end up seated next to you for the THIRD time :lol:. anyway, please stop in on occasion! we can't have all the oldies leaving :sad:

i love the piano version. i don't have anything against the album version, though, at least besides the music video. i just think the piano version is nicer :D. the band seem to have a similar love/hate relationship with the song, though: chris once said two of the band members hate it and two of them love it. i figure chris and will love it, since chris is the one that plays it pretty much solo on tour, and will has to OK everything that goes on the album :P. i bet jonny and guy don't like it, and they don't even really play on it live! i think i get what you're saying about it fitting better on VLVOD, but i think it's fine where it is on X&Y.

it snooooowed today :nice: my house in snow :nice: my brother doing a spectacular faceplant. my brother was writing rude words into the snow on one side of my car, so i had to reclaim it with VIVA :P

aww, i'm listening to this for the first time and loving it :nice: i always go into hysterics when chris (or most brits) do american accents, though. the thing with the turkey killed me.

i can't believe there are so many PP geeks! really, i don't know how to do much else in it other than making boring slideshows for courses :lol:. one of my former teachers, though, is a HUGE powerpoint geek and makes entire little animations in it. me, i'm a photoshop elements user. not a very knowledgeable one, but hey, you do what you can :P

i like how there seems to be a really good balance between the bought postcards and the made postcards :nice:. i think they both get across different aspects of the project, and i love how everything has turned out :D i wonder how many debs has now...:thinking:. i'm not going to ask her until the time of delivery, though. then she can give us a FULL report: how many cards there were and what the boys' reactions were! :D

yes, exactly :wink:. it needs to be in the mail by monday. otherwise, it might not reach the band in time for delivery, which is in early january.

i hate music snobs too. i have a particular, specific taste in music, but i don't really think that's being a snob, because at least i try things and can see the value in them, even if i decide they're not for me. i get really frustrated by the indie kids that think that bands can only be good if they're unheard of and undiscovered. fame and popularity can definitely affect music, but not always negatively, which people don't seem to understand. i can understand people not being that into coldplay, but as for being ANGRY at them...i think that's insane. i think that's people going into listening to them with preconceived notions that affect their ears.

it would be a very good idea to wish them a merry christmas. yes, they'll get it a bit after, but who cares? by the time they get the cards, they'll know it was a holiday project, so by all means, please wish them a merry christmas!

i got up at 5 in the morning at college to listen to jonny and chris premeire it on radio one :D. i was so fricking excited it was embarrassing. i wasn't in love on first listen...i remember listening to the intro and chris's first line thinking "ok, sounds classic coldplay" and then hearing jonny's first loud slam on the guitar and my face went :stunned:. since then it's MAJORLY grown on me, but it's still one of my least favorites on the album.

can someone from the UK explain red nose day? i never really understood it. also, that guy with the glasses that they keep showing taking photos of the band is miller, aka roadie #42 :nice:

i guess we'll just see what happens when it happens, but i'm quite surprised that they're planning to do it together, if what that article says is true. even though they're going to get shit either way for it, i feel like they'd get less shit for just doing it together, but what do i know? i think my brain might explode from seeing them together in the same picture, though :freak: :P

ok, this is probably already been asked and blah blah blah, so forgive me for being a noob, but is there a decent recording anywhere of the guys doing jingle bells? i didn't see anything in multimedia, and i'd love to hear it :nice:

yeah, i never knew the backstory of the whole ian/nettie feud, but i know there was one :P. i didn't think it was so serious as to not mention or link to the site, though! :lol:

aww, that's really nice! :D i said the same about seeing her in NJ. that much dancing and smiling definitely said "love" to me :nice:

ooh, does anyone know if this will be available online? i hope they do a christmas song too :D
