  1. arcade fire were in it for like a SECOND. they just flashed an image of them
  2. i don't think they'll be in a skit--musical guests or anyone but the host rarely show up in skits on SNL. then again, they've been brillo on shows like jimmy kimmel, so the writers might have seen that and worked them in. i'm not getting my hopes up, but it'll make my life if they are.
  3. what do we think the odds are that they'll show up in a skit? i also want to see the end, when they're on the stage with everyone at the end and everyone's hugging. if andy samberg and chris hug or something, i'll squee :D
  4. "in the first week of february..."
  5. i buy too much stuff in general
  6. i wish i could upload for people, but i don't have any way of doing that, or any idea how :disappointed: i'll give a blow-by-blow if anyone wants that, though :P
  7. i don't eat healthily at all. i have an issue with food  it'll catch up with me some day, i know, but for now i tend to try not to think about it.
  8. i want to record oneeeee... :bigcry: monday or tuesday when my roommate's not here, i pwomise :P
  9. oh MAN, sometime when i won't havemy roommate looking at me like i'm crazy, i'll record one of these :D why haven't i clicked any of these in this thread before? rolle and lore, i loooove your accents! :nice: nina too, but it was hard to hear you :P
  10. i always wanted to have a real-life popcorn fight :disappointed: i guess a virtual one is the next best thing. *throws a whole bag of popcorn in the air and laughs*
  11. yeah, i expect there to be more than 300 as long as everyone follows through...but wow. that's pretty impressive. i mean, i guess i expected somewhere around there when the project started catching on, but imagine anyone receiving 300 cards all under one project. that's pretty impressive! :D lore, i'm working on the email now
  12. if everyone that voted YES actually follows through AND sends two cards, we're at 300 cards :stunned: (pretty much, anyway)
  13. web-savvy coldplayers? :cheesy: i figure he doesn't mean us specifically, but :nice:
  14. web-savvy coldplayers? :cheesy: i figure he doesn't mean us specifically, but :nice:
  15. i'm not going to be around this monday, but if i get time tomorrow i'll write another email to have in reserve to send on monday if you want it :D
  16. yes, on cardstock or thicker paper of some sort. i've been using regular 4X6 sized index cards (but one for the back, one for the front taped together, so it's twice as thick). i don't even know if the post office would take something on regular paper. and the templates aren't mandatory, just so you know :D (but they sure are pretty :nice:)
  17. yes, if you absolutely can't go to a post office, the next option is to stick on like 2 or 3 regular stamps and handwrite "AIRMAIL" somewhere on it and see what happens. it might not be a guaranteed delivery and it might take longer, but i think there's still a good chance of that being ok
  18. i don't buy it. *sigh* but the apple and moses thing at SNL is adooooorablllleee :nice:
  19. no one's obliged to do anything :D. it's all about writing what YOU want to, but i do think that the point of the project is to say thanks and give back to THEM, so maybe that's something to bear in mind. the personal story/specific thing is just a suggestion to people that might not know what to write or want to try to be original.
  20. did they? i don't see it :disappointed: i think i have my fair share of these guys memorized, but in my geekier moments i contemplate printing out the thing so i don't have to wait for the hundreds of them to load.
  21. i seriously have to try this now. actually, now that i think about it...i did this a few weeks ago. i got a much-too-big bag of popcorn at the movies and brought it back to my dorm...and ate it the next day. i was surprised at how good it was. so i guess i am part of the club, then. weird
