i've been wondering whether or not to get one of those phone charms for a while now, and i think i'm going to get one. everyone seems to have one too :P

i have the same pen, mich!! do they have borders in the UK? because that's where i got mine... and does that little cow live in your purse? if he does, i love it! :nice: i love everyone's stuff!

haha, now that i see everyone elses bags, i see that i didn't really go into every pocket and take out everything i could. i forgot about burts bees, my knife, a mini flashlight, and the astonishing amount of euro coins in my wallet (because i always forget that in the EU, there's a COIN for 1 euro rather than a bill)...on and on and on :P right now i'm packing my bag to go to london tomorrow morning. i have an urge to take a picture of that for this thread (:P), but it's pretty worthless since i'm so NOT taking everything out again to describe/show it. but that would for sure let you know more about me, to see into the suitcases containing everything i've used for the past month! i :heart: this thread.

ah, that's just a diary thing, even though i do like it :nice: the journal is grey with colored fern leaves on it, and the next one is going to be a patchwork union jack :P and i have a HUGE thing for sanrio too. it's died down as i got older, but i still have a soft spot for it all :D

omg, grace, i LOVE this idea. *prepare for me to get super girly* i have a huge thing for bags. ok, so not really designer bags so much, but i just love any sort of bags: backpacks, messenger bags, purses etc. its this weird obsession, but i love putting stuff in bags. i think you can tell a lot about a person by what's in their bag. right now i'm a nanny in a big city, so i have very boring/practical things in a backpack, but here you go: i forgot to put in my keys and my netherlands guidebook because they were on my desk, but that's my mary-poppins holland bag. usually there's food and sweaters in there too, but i already took those things out. some things need a bit of explaining i guess, but basically there's a book to read when i'm bored, an umbrella, a notepad. in the next column, a dutch phrase book, two strippenkaart (tickets to travel dutch public transport...the blue one is mine, the pink is the kids'), 4 train tickets from rotterdam to leiden that we used today. next column is dutch water, my two wallets, dutch gum, and my ipod. then my rotterdam city map book, my dutch cell, a pen, and a diary. thrilling, no? and because i'm a geek, i plan to do this again in america when i have a normal purse :P

i just saw this shirt and have decided i really want it. i hope it's for sale at the NJ concert in october! :dance:

basically every last line in hot fuzz. i've seen that movie more than any other, but i still wet myself laughing every time. i feel like it's useless to even list some, because they're all so great. and right now, this one from house comes to mind: HOUSE [calling to wilson]: HEY WILSON! we're going to go cut out a cripple's eye. want to watch?

READ THE KITE RUNNER. if i could only suggest one book in the world, read that one. and don't see the movie first. my other top favorites are: -saturday (by ian mcewan) -the namesake (by jhumpa laheri) -anything from the ender series by orson scott card (sci fi, though, if you're into that) -contact (more sci fi by carl sagan) -a hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy (MORE sci fi, but this is hilarious...by douglas adams) -the great gatsby (by f. scott fitzgerald) -the gunseller (by hugh laurie, AKA dr. house)

i don't know, i think that was an accident. and i pretty much never laugh when people fall, but that was so hilarious that i just cracked up.

oh wow, a second round? the cool handwriting and effects make me think it's semy, but i doubt that it's him. this is a hard one...

i hate this too; when people stop often when telling a story or saying something. or when instead of saying "umm" or whatever, they repeat what they just said to fill the space. i also hate people obviously trying to get attention. that annoys me in kids, in adults, in my friends, everyone. people in dire need of attention bother the hell out of me.

haha, that's what i thought too. at first, i wondered if the painting was slightly altered to make it look like jonny (and even like guy and chris, but less so), but after looking it up online and ESPECIALLY after seeing it in person...it's creepy! :P i wonder if they'll answer it, because really, you cannot deny that it's the spitting image of jonny. funny that we had the same question! :D

i asked this morning if they were aware of the dude that looks like jonny! :lol: they didn't already answer that, did they? you writing this made me think that they answered it, so i zoomed to the site :P

BTW, the guy underneath him is the spitting image of guy (i got a big version so it was easier to see): bottom right corner. there's a thread about this somewhere. and the guy who looks like chris in the bottom right corner with one sock and no pants.

i can't STAND anyone reading over my shoulder, espeically when i'm writing something or i'm on the computer. if we're all looking at something, i have to stand up just so they're not looking over my shoulder. but my biggest pet peeve of all is people touching or coming close to my ears with their hands. i scream every time, no matter what. and if its a person that's doing it for a laugh and they already know i hate it, i get REALLY pissed. i actually punched my friend once because of it. i think all of that is because i had a lot of ear surgeries as a kid and docotrs and people were always looking into my ears, but hell, if anyone touches them, theyre dead meat. i don't even have my ears pierced :P

so here we go! i only put 3 on facebook for posterity's sake, but i could post more later. that guy there was really annoying, but it gives a sense of scale. jonny! it's amazingly impressive in person. :dance:

listening to "viva la vida" at (the outside of) versailles was pretty epic :P (it was too crowded for me to have time to stand in line to get tickets for me to go inside :bigcry:) actually, "viva la vida" anywhere in paris was pretty awesome. and... I SAW THE REAL LIBERTY LEADING THE PEOPLE!!!!!!! right now, the camera that the pictures are on is broken, but hopefully i can buy a card reader later in the day so i can put the photos up. it's an amazing painting anyway, but it means quite a lot to me now. and the thing is HUGE! i thought it was a normal-sized canvas, like 3ft by 2ft or something, but it's one of those mondo-sized canvasses that's like 8ft by 10ft. i was quite shocked. my friends that i was with probably thought i was a bit insane, so i didn't take a cheesy pic of me next to it in my VLV shirt, but i have about 10 photos of the thing, and one close-up one of "jonny" in it :P hopefully i can post pictures of it later tonight!

like chavi, i've just never really seen the desire to bite nails. well, sometimes when i break one and don't have nail clippers or a file handy, i'll bite off the piece, but that's about it. i'm a pretty big germophobe too, so putting my fingers even near my mouth when i'm out and about kind of grosses me out anyway. i always swat away the hand of the kid i nanny when he tries to bit his nails, especially when he's just been digging in the sandbox or had his hands all over the seats and railings in a tram. yuck. question: do you eat/swallow the pieces that you bit off? do you spit them out? i never knew. maybe that's why people spit so much on the sidewalk or grass (another habit i never really understood). my problem with my nails is just forgetting/not getting around to cutting them. i used to take really good care of my nails and always had them painted and done, but now i just kind of forget about them and they get too long. right now they're on the verge of getting to be too long again...where are my nail clippers?

do i even need to say?

ooooh, well i'm going to keep my eye out for someone distributing front-row tickets in october! :P
