MUFFINS, THE ONE NIGHT IN THE PAST FOUR MONTHS THAT I'M NOT ON HERE, IT GOES UP. i was watching all my TV shows and after ER i come back here to the blinking PM thing from semy and IMs from annie....WHY AM I ALWAYS DOING SOMETHING ELSE WHEN THINGS HAPPEN?! aaaanyway... violet hill is on the album? famous old painters is not?! maybe that's one of the tracks we'll be getting before june 16/17? that's out of left field, i have to say. and no "or death and all his friends"? wow, if that's true and prospekt wasn't just shortening the title on the list, i have to say i'm really happy about that! :dance: i'm one of the losers that thinks viva la vida is better than VLVODAAHF. VLV FTW!! :dance: :dance: and now we're just going to get really pissed at prospekt all over again when he doesn't give us the tracks he talked about in a timely fashion :dozey:

yeahhh, i got in trouble once for calling the nazis "fuckers" in history class, so since then i've really cut back on the swearing. good thing too, because i used to have quite the potty mouth. i mean, i don't mind when people swear, but i know some do, and i don't want to come off as really vulgar or whatever. but when i'm doing really stressful work or really physical work, i just let the curses fly. whenever i'd screw something up in tech & production for the plays i worked on, a stream of swears would fly out of my mouth like no other. i agree with tracie: music over ANYTHING else!

^you just described me right there. angry teenage girl constantly muttering "muffins." every time i want to say "fuck" (on some days quite often), i say "muffins" instead. sadly, i'm not exaggerating. now look who needs to get out more?!

i don't know what i can possibly vote for next round. this and pablo honey were really really painful for me. and kid a, but for some reason that was a bit easier.

ahh, i love how my use of "muffins" has spread to cyberspace! :laugh4: my real-life friends would be proud. actually, they'd think i'm even more pathetic than i already am :dozey: i'm counting on semy to spread the curse-replacement to the UK and tracie to spread it to canada. it BETTER be in use by the time i'm in toronto this summer and the time i'm wherever i am in the UK next september! :P yes, if they push back the date i will NOT be leaving my bed. there will probably be tears involved. and i will orgainize all the coldplayers on here in a MASSIVE mob full of pitchforks and torches to storm coldplay headquarters.

yes, i think with all the ranting and raving i did in the months leading up to the week of march 17, i'm all out of rants. as much as i'm DYING for more info, really i'm content(ish) until whenever they give us a single. and even then, i think i'm ok until june 17. i recall saying somewhere back in like december that once we got a release date, i'd shut up with my whining. i'm trying my hardest to do that now, but it's hard! :P if prospekt hadn't promised to get back to us like he did, i don't think i'd be complaining. it's just the fact that he explicitly SAID he'd keep us updated, seemingly VERY shortly after the last entry, and now it's verging on an entire month since he last wrote us. it's the broken promise that's irking me most. there's nothing worse than getting your hopes up and then someone else not following through with their half of the bargain. well, yes, there are definitely worse things, but still. however, if they move back the release date for any reason, there will be hell to pay. absolute effing HELL.

how can high and dry have two votes?! i figured that was a given winner! whatevs. i think it's safe for the time being.

yeah, those were kind of ties with me. but for some reason i'm insanely curious about the artwork so i put it ahead of the tour dates because in all likelihood, they're going to be doing the US in july-august (*crosses fingers*) must. have. MUSIC. soon.

^i have to say that i don't either. my demands in order of importance: 1. violet hill 2. single release date 3. artwork 4. US tour dates 5. tracklisting :P

...and they BEST be giving us something else besides the tracklisting, meaning the artwork and/or violet hill. and a single release date, dammit!

heh, i was looking at photos of rooms in some of the residence halls at my college because i have to pick where i want to live next year by next week. so i was looking at the photos, and in the photo that represents the building i live in currently, there's a coldplay poster over the bed! (all the way at the back there, at the center of the photo above the bed) is it sad that i can tell it's a coldplay poster even when it's that small? well, i have the same exact one, so i suppose it's not that sad :rolleyes:

british accents ARE the best thing ever!! no doubt in my mind. it's much better than having an accent which is basically the absence of an accent, and one that people imitate when they want to sound stupid :dozey:. thank you, george bush. but i know what you mean; it all becomes so boring when you're so used to it. not that anyone really thinks that american accents are all that cool, but if they did i'd just laugh at them because i think they're so uninteresting. trust me, though: british accents might just be the best ones out there! :P

this is getting ridiculous. if the next prospekt entry ONLY contains the tracklisting and not anything else, i think i'm going to be peeved. this is too much time gone by when he told us that he'd get back to us soon. for me, it's more the fact that he promised to tell us and now he isn't. that's what's getting me.

aaaand the presale is now sold out for pretty much everything, if anybody thought they could jump in the game late or something. guess i'm waking up early on saturday. meh.

haha! popeyes chicken at a wedding! well, at least they supplemented it with other more wedding-appropriate things...but i bet chris and gwyneth weren't thrilled with all the chicken! :D come to think of it, there are some really non-appropriate foods i'd love to have at my wedding, like annie's macaroni and cheese and wendy's chicken and pizza. oh, and pringles! :laugh1: first dance to "crazy in love," though? tee hee, i think that's a bit cheesy...
