oh, coldplaying has not only ruined my academic discipline, but my figure as well. we like to call it getting "excessively pudgy" around here :wink: everything is so food-based these days!

i've never heard of those either...i'll look for them when i'm in canada this summer. they look good, at least. never had the reeses whips, but i must find them! i've seen the TV commercials for them. and sorry about making everyone hungry...but i've got an entire bin of them under my bed! :dance: well, they're made by trader joe's, which is an american organic food supermarket chain, and i think they're BETTER than reeses by far! i also bought a mix to make reeses brownies the other day. must make those!

i'm not trying it until the people around me are mature enough about it and that i'm comfortable in the setting. the opportunites i've had so far would have made it uncomfortable for various reasons. even then, i don't know anymore. i have a good enough time without it or any other substance. i don't feel the need to enhance my good time because i know i can always occupy myself with something. let's see what can i confess...:thinking: ok, this is a stupid one, but it's very very true.

10:33 PM; half watching the big lebowski, half working on an essay, half eating pringles, and half talking to people on coldplaying. wait, that's too many halves. i really need to shower and go to bed.

AHH :dance: edgar wright and simon pegg are my favorite screenwriters ever, i think, and edgar wright definitely makes the "best directors" list in my book, no question. and i'll defend that in any court, even though as a film student i'm only supposed to revere the godfather and citizen kane and casablanca etc. someday i'm going to write a really kick-ass paper for class on why these movies should be considered pieces of fine cinema rather than just popcorn cinema. and i had a cornetto today out of the blue and i thought of these movies. though they're not called cornettos in the US. and BIG YES to the special coldplaying trip to see this!! i'll even fly over to the UK especially for it :P

:freak: how can you NOT have blue m&ms in canada?! that's insane! now you can actually order m&ms of any color in the world...with you own personal message on them! i find that a bit freaky that they can print things that small and still have it be legible. these are my faves: (ooh, i didn't realize that was a painting when it was a thumbnail!)

:D and now i've got their entire catalogue, anthology outtakes and all, on random :dance: i'm having SUCH a good time. it's so nice to realize that all the words and guitar solos and little random bits of the song are still lodged in your brain somewhere and that you didn't forget a thing about them or their music in the hiatus :nice:

i haven't really ever gotten tired of coldplay, but i've found sooo much new music in the past two years as well that i keep a good balance, i think. i've recently done the same with the beatles that tracie has done with coldplay. after watching across the universe a million times (all the girls on my floor are quite literally OBSESSED with that film), i went back and listened to the originals of all the songs in the film. and ohh my god, what a feeling. i used to be perhaps the biggest beatle fan on the face of the earth. my obsession with them was mortifying, much more intense than my love for coldplay is now. i didn't listen to anything else for two years, and because of that i OD'ed on them and didn't listen to them much. but then last week i listened again, and it was like a present, like this really great, nostalgic feeling :nice:.

i want someone to send that one in and i want them to actually ask it!! seriously, i'd love to know if they're really aware of the things that go on here and all of our (sometimes insane) speculations :P

just sent a question about what song in their entire catalogue they're most proud of writing. kinda similar to justin's though, now that i see it :\

haha, oh this thread. it was a good one! yes, there could be some GREAT storylines with apple and moses!! i'd still kill for this show, even though it would be a total guilty pleasure. a) i'd be disappointed in them if they did anything like this and b) i'd feel guilty about watching it. but still. i think it would be HILARIOUS.

aww, i don't find my room that interesting! there's just so much stuff everywhere. i can never bear to get rid of anything. heh, it didn't take that long to explain or do. i tend to write pretty fast, and for some reason i find it interesting to think of how people who aren't used to all of it would see everything. likewise i like seeing where other people live. and thanks about the picture, semy. i found it geeky, but not stupid enough to not post, i guess. and yes, that's an obama pin :blush:. i'm a walking billboard for barack obama most of the time, but then again, so are lots of people. i didn't take a picture of the outside of our door...we're kind of obsessed. but because it's such an important thing, i don't mind being overly vocal about it. thanks guys :nice: i want to see all of yours! :dance:

heh, that does sound like a crazy day! april can be totally unpredicatble. here it's been like living in a cloud. it's not raining, per se, it's just a really really dense mist that gets you really wet when you go outside simply because you're walking in it. it doesn't even seem to be coming from the sky or falling downward; it's just there floating all over the place.

i red card george bush and his entire administration as well, tracie :laugh1: and i red card hillary clinton, just so she can get out of the way and let barack obama get the nomination and presidency for god's sake. she might as well. even though i don't hate her, it's just time for her to get out of the race. i like this idea :D. i don't remember this daily show episode, though.

pokemon FTW!! :D i categorized all my cards by number as well...and yes, i still do own them. after watching yours, i really want to make a video, but alas, i have no video camera. and it would be highly awkward to borrow my roommate's: "hey, can i borrow your camera so i can go around our boring room and talk about all the things in it to show my friends on the internet that i've never actually met in the physical world?" so i'm going to od it in pictures in a minute. but when i get home i'm going to give a little tour as well, just for fun.
