ARGH. I'M ON W.A.S.T.E RIGHT NOW TO BUY TICKETS AND THE SITE WON'T EVEN LOAD, THERE'S SO MANY PEOPLE ON IT :veryangry: this is NOT looking good for me today. it's probably because they went onsale at 9 and i was in class and it's now 9:50. ARGGGGGH. i'm going to have to get up early on saturday and have myself poised and ready for the general sale the second the clock hits 10:00. at least that's through ticketmaster, so i have my tricks with that. freaking thing, though! i mean, the site crashing is understandable;i had the same problem with pearl jam's site two weeks ago, but really. you'd think in this day and age there would be some cheap, effective way to thin out the site traffic by even a little so people can at least GET ON the site. gah :angry:

in one of my years in school, all 6 of my teachers happened to be british, and i guess i'm just really impressionable when it comes to accents because people told me i started picking it up a bit! it was kind of embarrassing, but as a confession i didn't really mind, even though i wasn't aware i was doing it. i suppose my impressionability with accents accounts for the slight pennsylvanian accent i'm picking up here. which is NOT cool. haha, i just remembered this: my mom and i were talking about me going abroad last year some time, and she was wondering why i didn't just wait till graduate school to go abroad. i told her i was adamant about going ASAP and that i'd been waiting for this since i was 12 and wasn't going to wait any longer. then she gives me this horrified face and was like "you didn't hook up with one of those online coldplay friends you have, did you?! is that why you want to go over there so much so soon?!" and i couldn't breathe for laughing so hard. i was crying it was so funny :laugh4:

argh, the presale is TOMORROW?! i thought it was saturday...do you have to qualify specially to participate in the presale? i've done presales before but it's different depending on the band. pearl jam presales are for members of the fan club only and they do reserve the best seats for amazingly good prices. i have absolutely NO idea what radiohead does, which makes me really nervous :\ i'm going to be stalking DAS tomorrow, i guess. oh man, i hope i can get something and that they're not all gone when i'm in class or something! :confused: i guess i'll have a second shot at the general sale, but i'll feel wonderful if i can square away everything tomorrow. eek.

yeah, part of college. i mean, i'm not like 100% signed up or anything, and i'm not sure exactly where i'll be, but i have several universities in mind and i'm GOING to be there, no question, i don't care what anyone says. soooo pumped!

^i wouldn't be afraid of eating them if i liked the taste. i love goldfish crackers, though! yeah, the eyes are freaky as well. eeek. everything about them weirds me out. i need to stop thinking about it... anna: ME TOO. like, to no end. since i was about 12 i've wanted that, and it has yet to come true. well, i'll never be british, but i will be living there next year!! justin: ditto on the really picky eater part! :D

i laugh hardest on tuesdays because that's when i have astronomy lab, and my lab partner is one of the funniest people i've ever met. i think most of the things he says qualify as "you had to be there" moments, though.

ahh! really justin?! :dance: now i know i'm not the only one!! ack, they REALLY freak me out. i have to say that i'm almost more freaked out about fish, though, for some strange reason. i think it has to do with the way that they move...*shudder*. i can barely keep it together in aquariums, which is where my school has gone on field trips for the past two years :dozey:. it's totally stupid, but i'm glad someone else understands!! :D crabs and lobsters too. i hate seeing them in the tank in the supermarket...eek. i'm ok with fake fish, though. stuffed animals, fine, finding nemo, ok. once they start getting real looking i get all quivery. my friend was haivng a funeral for her goldfish in the bathroom the other week and i had a hard time attending :embarassed:

ok, can i ask a really dumb vista-related question? how do all you guys have your icons in a line at the top or bottom of the screen like on macs?! i have yet to work out how to do this, but since lots of you have posted your desktops with your icons like that, i figure it's built in to vista. can anyone tell me how to do it?

^cate blanchett plays jenneane, the woman that simon's character broke up with. she appears in the full clean-gear and goggles at the beginning so you can't tell it's her, but the voice makes you go "ahhh, that's her!" :D these movies are some of my favorite in the world. i think they're not just hilarious, but amazing examples of genius screenwriting and directing. i can't WAIT for this third film!
