^i never hated VLV, but i don't think it's my favorite album title out there. from sheer sound POV, i like DAAHF much better, but if they decide that VLV fits better and they like it better, then i'm all for that as well.

if my house in maine was closer to portland, i think i'd be on the road right now. just kidding, but maine is SO RANDOM! NYC, LA, boston, chicago, even DC, but PORTLAND?! whatever, if they just went for how nice maine is, then i completely understand. not exactly a center of business or music, though. and it's such a small city that they're probably getting SO MANY head turns while walking down the street!

ditto. i hope they come to CT and NYC before i go back to uni in mid august. i don't want to have to train/drive to philly to see them during the school year, especially when i'm so familiar with the CT and NYC venues...and i don't think there's much to worry about, but they BETTER hit around here before september 2009, because i'll be in england, which they probably will have already toured! i'm going to bend over backwards to see them, though, with AMAZING seats. never been to a gig?! wow, you're in for a treat if your first is coldplay! the first concert i went to where i legit liked and knew the artist was coldplay's, and i still cite it as the best concert i've ever been to. the amazing seats also probably helped. i still maintain that chris sweated on me a bit :D

i know, i was just thinking it's a possibility. because more than anything else, i just want NEW MUSIC!! speaking of that, the movie the escapist is out 11 april in the UK and 25 april in the US, and coldplay's "song for the escapist" is still listed on IMDB.com, so i'm thinking that's the next BIG day!

if chinese sleep chant was a third option, i must say that personally i like VLV better than CSC. but i like DAAHF better than both!!

but if this is supposed to redefine coldplay, i think it's better. not that i want them to start wearing smudged eyeliner and tight pants and moaning about wrist-slitting, and i've always loved their optimism, etc, but i'm kind of in love with the dark vibe that we've been hearing about and DAAHF seems to fit that much better.

Dear Coldplay and Prospekt: I, Chelsea (ApproximatelyInfinite) wholeheartedly agree and sincerely hope that Death and All his Friends will be the album title rather than Viva La Vida. It seems to be more original, and most certainly more interesting in my personal opinion. However, I, for one, will not be too terribly disappointed by the choice of Viva La Vida. Thank you for giving us all the information this week, and we can't WAIT for further updates and the album itself! -Chelsea

haha, DAAHF!! loves it! god, i hope they decide to change it. chris seemed kind of set in his ways, though, in the RS article. and it IS the exact oposite of VLV!! but i like it better. i can live with VLV, but now that there's an alternative...i've got my hopes up. BEST. WEEK. EVER.

whoa, he wrote the entry TODAY! when has THAT ever happened? and they're in MAINE?! that's my favorite state after CT, i LOVE it there, but kinda random, don't you think? i love the image of them all together in some nice cozy maine house, finalizing the tracklisting and album title in the woods somewhere. eeeeeee!
