HAHAHAHAHA i just laughed so hard at this that people were staring. ohhhh my god. yes, as i said before and as other people have said since, the TITLE of an album is not going to change my opinion of it whatsoever if it's a good album. there are lots of albums that i love that i'm not crazy about the name--AROBTTH being one of them, to be perfectly honest. as long as the music's good, the title has no bearing on it. and we can't know about the music yet, so whatever. i'm just a bit disappointed that they wasted this opportunity to have a really kick-ass title, but it really doesn't matter that much in the end because it's about the music. just BRING IT ON!! i'm thinking mid-late may for a single? but what about "song for the escapist" being in the movie the escapist? if that's still in, we'll be getting a new coldplay song on april 11!!! (someone from the UK has to sneak a recorder into the cinema and record it for us if it's not on the soundtrack or if the soundtrack comes out after the film!)

:laugh1: i bet it's just a coincidence. unless chris had the title all planned out in 2005 and leaked the rumor (or joke, seeing as no one ever believed it) himself! i personally have a bit of a hunch that coldpatrix finding the screenshots yesterday has something to do with this info today! if its true, it makes me happy that we have the info (of course), but also a little sad if they had some cool, elaborate announcement planned originally. i think they might have given RS the go-ahead to print that today because of yesterday's discovery (the st. patrick's day goldmine! :D)

yeahhh, i liked famous old painters way better. the more i think about it, the more crap i think it is. but i'm getting some satisfaction out of predicting the name! i knew it had to have SOME significance when it appeared twice in the zany video they posted in december or whenever... but having a release date makes me 100% satisfied. 88 days!

i don't think it's that bad of a name, really. i was hoping for something a bit more kick-ass and original and creative, but hey. while album title and artwork are important, what really matters is the MUSIC. i don't care if it's called piece of shit and the artwork is lame and cliche, as long as it's a good album i can live with the rest. interesting that it's out the 14th...that's a saturday! most albums are released on tuesdays in the US!! but i won't be on vacation, so WHOOOOOOOOOOO! OMG, i want to have a PARTY.

they're on to us!! :P i think it was probably a mistake that those screencaps were up there. if they wanted us to find it, i think it would be functional, and the fact that they removed it makes me think it was definitely NOT meant to be found. but i wonder why the HELL they put it so the general public could access it. it seems like if slenderfungus put it there to show coldplay the possible layouts, they SO could have just emailed them the screencaps or something; some safer way of transmitting the info so we couldnt find it! the fact that they put it in such a public place makes me think it wasnt an accident after all...hmm.

bah, all i did on my spring break was go to the movies every single day. which i enjoyed immensely. but its not aruba. have fun!!! it sounds like a great trip!

argh, i knew id get crap for voting blow out. and it IS totally different; it's more like their later stuff, which is obviously GENIUS, but i kind of like pablo honey so much because it's a bit more mainstream than the others. it shows that radiohead still could have been geniuses within the mainstream genre rather than blazing their own path (which i LOVE that they did; i love RH just as much as you guys!) i might as well stop voting for it, because it's almost definitely going to be one of the two winners. i'm pulling for i can't to be the other, but i'd like stop whispering or thinking about you to make it as well.

i'm still squeeing 9 hours later! haha, when i first came to this page earlier and read the first few posts (there were like 4 at that time), i didn't know what to do. i just sat there blankly for a second! and by the time i'd posted my post, there were like 7 more up in the time it took me to write it! its funny that i convinced myself all morning that we would definitely NOT be getting any big coldplay news today because it's monday etc etc, and the ONE day i think we wont get anything fo'sho, we do! my life seems to work like this all the time, so i should have known, i suppose. :dance:

i know i'm going to get MAJOR, MAJOR flak for this, but... blow out. :\ *dodges projectiles* (it's not that it's a bad song; it just doesn't fit with the rest on the album IMO)

i deffi think the band noticed. whether they're happy or sad about that, i'd like to know, but i bet they have people that check in here periodically to make sure that there aren't any music leaks circulating (because they'd OBVIOUSLY show up here!), and perhaps someone noticed and sounded the alarm. hahaha, what a day. best st. patricks day ever! but my friend just reminded me that five years ago today, we returned home from our wiiiild england adventure. that's a long story in itself, but i think because i was returning home and didnt really want to on that day, this day is definitely more exciting!!!

it's deadening out now here, though, so i don't feel too bad about leaving. its so freaking addicting though! i love it here on a regular basis, but with the news today i simply canNOT break away!

i think i'll go fucking INSANE if it's going to be a late may/early june release AND THEY DON'T TELL US UNTIL A WEEK BEFORE. i will probably crack up. not to mention be very very angry. i think in this case, it's almost dare i say rude to do that to us, because we KNOW it's coming sometime in that timeframe and just want to know exactly when. with radiohead it seemed more acceptable IMO because there wasn't a pinpointed time for release, really. it was a surprise, and that's what made it cool. this wouldnt be a surprise at all, because we know they'd be telling us SOMETIME soon.

i love it too! somehow, TODAY i have a bit of patience now that i have proof of real progress! even without a release date, this has made my DAY. i have to go to dinner now, and then probably to the library to get away from this SITE and my computer so i can do coursework, but i'll check in later, most definitely!
