sooo...what news is going to be released today, guys? :dozey: naw, i don't honestly think we'll be getting any news today, even though we've gotten big news/excitement for the past three days straight. i'm waiting for the next prospekt entry at the end of the week. two things: 1. in the middle of the night, my X&Y poster fell off my wall AGAIN, and i woke up with it draped around me like a blanket. how fitting for coldplay week, eh? :P 2. my friend that has never really liked coldplay in the past is now falling in love with them, which makes me unbelievably happy. she wrote to me: "when does this CD come out? new fave songs include: warning sign, swallowed by the sea, shiver, I ran away, and the scientist (but I've always loved that one)." the fact that she has an extremely similar list of favorites to me is kind of freaking me out, but hey! perhaps we'll get a new convert!

i voted this friday, though i think there's a high chance of it being this saturday or sunday as well. prospekt DID say there would be a post later in the week, and i don't think he can or will let us down after saying that. they've had long-ass gaps between entries before, but in those entries they've never really set a timeframe for the next entry to appear like they did in this one. even in the one two times ago when they said that they'd be done in 5 weeks or so, they only said they'd be done, not that they would give us an update right when they'd finished. so, i'm thinking if it's not up by sunday night at 12:00 AM californian time, we need to get out our pitchforks and torches and organize a riot. just kidding :P

as i've already told you elsewhere: BRILLIANT WALLPAPER!!!! seriously, it's one of the classiest and un-cheesy coldplay ones i've seen. any chance of you posting the actual file??

i voted VLVOD just because it makes me think of vampires, which makes me laugh (although VLAD and Vampires also do, but they don't make as much logical sense as abbreviations). but really, i like VivaDeath despite the abbreviation for that being VD (and coldplay are such good boys that they'd never give anyone VD). ultimately, though, VVDAF makes the most logical sense in terms of an appropriate and short abbreviation for an abbreviation.

i like the slash as well. it would make it 10 times better IMO. "or" just sounds so moronic. or they could title it "viva la vida with death and all his friends." i get the image of the grim reaper and other similarly morbid figures living it up in hell with a rowdy, drunken party complete with lampshades on the heads :laugh4: god, i'm insane.

^haha, well, i'm pretty close to being clinically insane, so yours makes more sense. well, not really, but i make weird connections. i also have a very russian/ukrainian family, so that's why i read it with more of a russian kind of pronunciation :laugh4: and i have a friend who likes vlad the impailer. she got me a t-shirt with him on. hence, vampires :P

^agreed. that would make it a bit better. hahaha, ian quoted me in two news articles today: me in the first one: Viva la Vida isn't my favorite title ever, i'll definitely say that. but i can think of much lamer titles that we'd be bitching about more. and i'm just really happy it's not self-titled. that would have made me smack my forehead and roll my eyes. me in the second one: if it's double-titled then i'm DEFINITELY smacking my forehead and rolling my eyes. when i said that, i NEVER expected them to actually double title it. now my forehead hurts! :laugh4:

and BTW, VLVODAAHF is hardly an abbreviation! it takes longer than writing out "a rush of blood to the head" (well, ok, maybe not, but it's close) we need to have an abbreviation for VLVODAAHF. one that is NOT VD! i think the multi-language thing is getting me too. i'm all for spanish or other foreign languages, but TWO languages in one long-ass title? whatevs. i need to stop complaining, but REALLY, coldplay, REALLY? :laugh4: nah, name it whatver you want; its YOUR album and you get it best!
