ooh, i had a similar problem once last year. my arm fell asleep and felt like that, but then it went completely numb and didn't wake up for...three months. that took quite a bit of time and pain in physical therapy to sort out. so make sure the sensation goes away, or your entire christmas holiday could be spent in a hospital physical therapy ward! :P

i think i've been a moron this entire time. the most recent prospekt entry only says that they're finalizing the tracklisting by the end of the week, not necessarily that they're going to give us the next entry by the end of the week. i don't know if the wording has been slightly tweaked or if i've just misunderstood it the entire time, but all of a sudden i'm less optimistic about getting an entry today or tomorrow. we're probably going to have to wait till next week :\ ah, well it's still the best week ever!

we get NO holidays off here. bastards. but one class was cancelled, so i should count myself lucky. especially since i've ignored all coursework. luckily it wasnt too pressing this week. argh, i already said bye and i'm still here. MUST PULL SELF AWAY. bye!

i don't think good friday has much to do with it. it might, but only if they were huge christians/catholics would i think that it would prevent an entry. and they DID say the end of the week, which to me means by sunday night (but sunday is easter, which is more of a "popular" holiday than good friday, so i think it'll be tomorrow or saturday). god, now I'M making this thread bold!

i voted march as an MP3 to be the optimist that i'm usually not. i'm harboring a tiny hope that it'll be up with the prospekt entry we're promised tomorrow or this weekend. i'm probably wrong, but honestly i won't be let down if they don't because this week has been so frick-fracking amazing that i could NEVER complain. i will be stalking the site tomorrow like NO OTHER. and i only have one class because the other got cancelled, so more time to spend in front of my computer in the name of coldplay!

this thread really has to stop being bold. my heart jumps a little every single time. i'm most excited about the slight, off-chance that "violet hill" will be included in the next prospekt entry. of course, the tracklisting is GREAT to know, and i can't wait to see it, but really it doesn't mean a hell of a lot because we haven't heard the songs. but i hope it's up sometime tomorrow so we can have a 5-day news streak! :dance:

it's sod's law like murphy's law? yeahhh, being prefect was kind of a big deal to me. it's a big deal in my school in general, but i was geek enough to believe it all instead of only wanting power and putting it on my college app. at least i waited to burst into tears of fear until after i left the office.

definitely. but i have no qualms about missing classes here! i'd miss a week for coldplay if i had to. the worst part of the experience was being scared into believing that i was no longer eligible for prefect by the dean. i freaked out for the entire week until positions were announced. oh, and that somehow no one knew that my friend came to the concert with me and skipped for the same reason, and she was up for prefect as well.

89 days here, because it's not midnight yet! :laugh1: but i'm hoping to get it on the 13th so i don't have to try to get it while on vacation in a remote area...but i definitely WILL miss out on the initial analysis here :bigcry: unless i can descreetly escape to some place with wifi for a few hours each day, but my parents would be kind of pissed.

i love the screenplay-ish format of this story :smug: and that there are pringles in it. my embarrassing story is probably more than one story, but in short: i was in the throes of my newfound coldplay love in april 2006 (well, it had existed for a full year at this point...whatever). i have a friend who technically introduced me to coldplay, and i constantly wanted to talk to her about coldplay because i was under the impression that she was as obsessed and into them as i was. it took me a loooong time to figure out that i was just embarrassing myself by going on about them all the time. ANYWAY, i was going to see coldplay in concert for the second time with said friend, and it was kind of embarrassing in itself to be really really into the concert while she sat there somewhat stoically... the thing was, we had to skip a day of school to go to the concert. this is kind of a BIG deal at my school to skip a day when you're not sick, and at the time i was up for a prefect position at school (big deal at my school) and word got out that i was skipping school...so guess who was called into the dean's office? i felt HORRIBLE, but i didn't regret going for a second. i just made my case and they accepted it, surprisingly enough. and i got the prefect position anyway! so i nearly sacrificed my job for coldplay, and there was a big stink caused around it. all for the love of coldplay! wow, that wasn't so short at all :rolleyes:

if my husband doesn't love coldplay then there's going to be a problem. well, ok, maybe not LOVES, but he's GOT to appreciate them. and radiohead. and the strokes. and the beatles, the killers, death cab for cutie, oasis, U2...he just has got to have a similar musical taste or else there's bound to be issues! i'd feel bad about neglecting my husband, but he'll have to deal!

all of these articles are making it harder and harder to wait 89 days. anyone think there's a possibility of getting "violet hill" with the prospekt entry at the end of the week? i don't want to get my hopes up, but it sounds possible! might i also mention that coldplay week is killing my academic career. i'm too afraid to leave the board!

AH. NEW ARTICLE. this deffi counts as like half-a-news thingy because we hear a bit more about the tracks. THIS IS THE BEST WEEK EVER. "stalin" and "innocent" should never be in the same sentence :lol: i was debating photoshopping the picture so the grim reaper is the one with the lampshade on and coldplay (in morbid black robes) are partying with him, but then i remembered i suck at photoshop and should be writing a paper with the time it would take to make it presentable :laugh4:

i like rain generally, but the town in PA that my uni is in must be the rainiest place in the COUNTRY besides seattle, i swear. it's the rainiest place i've ever been outside of the UK. i like occasional rain, no more than four times a month. and it's worst in the winter because everything's so yucky and cold already. being wet just makes you colder, and it's a lame and disgusting alternative to pretty and potentially school-cancelling snow.

i bet you and blow out are going to win. i'd like it to be i can't and stop whispering or thinking about you, but hey, you can't get too picky in these things. anyone else notice some similarities between "you" and "yellow"? you might hit me for even mentioning it...but i hear it a bit :uhoh:
